ABSTRAK Pengelolaan sampah sejak dini merupakan langkah penting dalam membentuk perilaku peduli lingkungan. Kegiatan edukasi mengenai pemilahan sampah dan konsep 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) dilaksanakan pada tanggal 14 Oktober 2024 kepada siswa kelas 2 dan kelas 4 SDIT Al-Ikhwan dengan tujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran mereka dalam mengelola sampah secara benar. Edukasi dilaksanakan melalui metode ceramah interaktif dengan menggunakan media ppt, poster, diskusi, dan praktik langsung memilah sampah sesuai kategori. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan siswa yang signifikan berdasarkan hasil post-test, dengan ditandai oleh kemampuan mereka dalam membedakan sampah organik, anorganik, dan B3, serta pemahaman yang lebih baik mengenai penerapan 3R dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Selain peningkatan pengetahuan, terlihat pula perubahan sikap positif siswa terhadap kebersihan lingkungan sekolah, seperti lebih konsisten membuang sampah pada tempatnya dan memanfaatkan kembali barang yang masih dapat digunakan. Kesimpulannya, edukasi pemilahan sampah dan 3R dapat meningkatkan literasi lingkungan siswa sekolah dasar dan dapat menjadi program berkelanjutan untuk mendukung pembentukan budaya peduli lingkungan di sekolah. An educational activity on waste sorting and the 3R concept (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) was held on October 14, 2024, for 2nd and 4th grade students at SDIT Al-Ikhwan with the aim of increasing their knowledge and awareness of proper waste management. The education was carried out through interactive lectures using PowerPoint presentations, posters, discussions, and hands-on practice in sorting waste according to category. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in students' knowledge based on the post-test results, as indicated by their ability to distinguish between organic, inorganic, and hazardous waste, as well as a better understanding of the application of 3R in everyday life. In addition to increased knowledge, there was also a positive change in students' attitudes towards school environmental cleanliness, such as being more consistent in disposing of waste in its proper place and reusing items that could still be used. In conclusion, education on waste sorting and the 3Rs can improve the environmental literacy of elementary school students and can be a sustainable program to support the formation of an environmentally conscious culture in schools.
