Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 yang telah berlangsung sejak 2020 di Indonesia membawa banyak perubahan baru dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk pada aktivitas bekerja. Penyesuaian sistem kerja ini seringkali tidak memperhatikan aspek keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3), termasuk potensi bahaya psikososial sehingga meningkatkan risiko gangguan mental pada pekerja. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan secara online dan offline ini merupakan rangkaian dari kegiatan coaching promosi kesehatan di tempat kerja (PKDTK). Tujuan kegiatan abdimas ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan perilaku sehat mental pada pekerja PT.X. Rangkaian kegiatan abdimas diawali dengan penyebaran kuesioner Depression Anxiety and Stress Scale (DAAS-21) untuk melakukan identifikasi risiko gangguan mental pada pekerja di PT. X. Hasil kuesioner menunjukkan semua responden mengalami risiko gangguan mental berupa cemas, stress dan depresi akibat kerja. Setelah itu dilakukan sosialisasi dan edukasi terkait kesehatan mental pada pekerja di masa pandemi Covid-19. Terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan pekerja setelah kegiatan ini. Setelah sosialisasi, dilakukan diskusi dan konseling bagi para pekerja. Para pekerja dipandu untuk memilih hal-hal yang menyenangkan untuk mengurangi tanda dan gejala stress yang dirasakan. Pekerja tampak aktif dan antusias selama kegiatan berlangsung. Diharapkan program manajemen stress kerja di PT. X segera dilaksanakan sehingga derajat sehat mental pada seluruh pekerja PT.X di masa Pandemi Covid-19 ini akan tercapai lebih optimal. Kata kunci : Risiko gangguan mental, pekerja, pandemi covid-19

Abstract

Guru merupakan sentralisasi bagi proses pendidikan, baik dan buruknya proses belajar mengajar tersebut guru yang mengarahkannya. Kondisi selama pandemi ini bisa menimbulkan stress kerja. Tuntutan dan tanggungjawab besar yang dimiliki oleh guru tersebut menjadikan guru mengalami stress. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor – faktor yang berhubungan dengan stress kerja pada guru SD Negeri Pulogebang 01 selama pertemuan tatap muka terbatas tahun 2022. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian cross sectional study. Populasi guru yaitu 31 guru. Data analisis menggunakan uji Chi Square dengan hasil menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan antara hubungan interpersonal dengan stres kerja (p-value 0,006), lingkungan kerja dengan stres kerja (p-value 0,015). Serta tidak ada hubungan antara beban kerja dengan stres kerja (p-value 1,000), rutinitas kerja dengan stres kerja (0,228).  Maka dari itu perlu upaya dari kepala sekolah untuk menciptakan hubungan kerja yang harmonis antara guru dan atasan, hal ini perlu dilakukan supaya pekerjaan yang sulit dikerjakan akan mudah jika dilakukan bersama sama sehingga semua guru dapat bekerja dengan nyaman.

Abstract

Kelelahan kerja merupakan permasalahan kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja yang dapat menjadi faktor risiko terjadinya kecelakaan saat pekerjaan berlangsung, pekerja yang mengalami kelelahan lebih berisiko mengalami kecelakaan kerja dibandingkan pekerja yang sehat. Banyak faktor yang berhubungan dengan kelelahan kerja yaitu meliputi: faktor karakteristik individu, seperti usia, jenis kelamin, tingkat pendidikan, masa kerja, status perkawinan, IMT dan sebagainya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) dan masa kerja dengan Kelelahan kerja pada pekerja bagian produksi di PT X tahun 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Jumlah sampel terdiri dari 48 responden, Teknik pengambilan sampel ada total sampling dengan menggunakan kuesioner Industrial Fatigue Research Committee (IFRC), masa kerja, dan IMT. Analisis data menggunakan uji statistic chi square dengan hasil bivariat menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan IMT dengan kelelahan kerja (p-value 0,001) dan adanya hubungan masa kerja dengan kelelahan kerja (p-value 0,000). Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan untuk membuat program pengendalian kelelahan kerja, misalnya dengan memberikan edukasi mengenai pola makan sehat sehingga dapat menjaga IMT agar tetap normal, kegiatan peregangan otot dan melakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan bagi pekerja yang mengalami kelelahan kerja yang tinggi.

Abstract

Background: Stress is a complaint that workers in the manufacturing industry often feel. The work environment, processes, and equipment can cause work stress. The increase in workload related to the achievement of targets is one of the causes of work stress. Objective: This study aims to see the effect of workload on work stress in the production area. The variables analyzed in this study are work stress as the dependent variable, workload as an independent variable, and three confounding variables: work period, work duration, room temperature, and noise. Method: This study used an analytic observational method with a cross-sectional design approach. The sample in this study is the total population of workers in the production area, as many as 88 people. Result: The results of the bivariate analysis showed that four variables influenced work stress, workload (p=0.012), working period (p=0.002), room temperature (p=0.029), and noise (p=0.002). The results of the multivariate analysis showed that the most dominant variable affecting work stress was tenure (p=0.001 and OR=12.610). Conclusion: Management is advised to detect work stress early among employees. Recommendation: Management needs to implement an occupational health promotion program in stress management, starting with identifying the causes of stress in the work environment. In addition, it is recommended to detect work stress early in employees

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Dampak covid-19 terhadap dunia pendidikan sangat besar dan dirasakan oleh berbagai pihak terutama guru, kepala sekolah, peserta didik dan orang tua. Salah satu keputusan pemerintah yaitu proses pembelajaran tetap berlangsung tapi tidak dengan tatap muka melainkan dengan online. Berbagai masalah muncul akibat pembelajaran online seperti situasi rumah yang tidak mendukung, masalah koneksi, dan sulitnya komunikasi juga dapat menyebabkan stress. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis hubungan antara hubungan interpersonal dengan stress kerja yang dialami oleh Guru SDN X Jakarta Timur. Metode: Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif desain studi crossectional. Sebanyak 31 Guru di SDN X terlibat dalam penelitian ini. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode simple random sampling. Hasil dan Pembahasan: hubungan interpersonal yang dialami guru sebagian besar termasuk dalam kategori hubungan yang tidak baik. Sebagian besar guru di SDN X mengalami stress kerja.. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara hubungan interpersonal dengan stress kerja yang dialami oleh Guru (P Value 0,006) dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,438. Kesimpulan: Hubungan interpersonal yang tidak baik menyebabkan stress kerja oleh karena itu upaya yang perlu dilakukan oleh sekolah seperti berkumpul bersama secara rutin, dan perlu dilakukan gathering/ rekreasi bersama untuk menciptkan hubungan dan komunikasi yang lebih baik dan bisa lebih mengenal karakter dari masing-masing Guru.

Abstract

Background: The Minister of Manpower stated that the construction sector contributed to the highest number of work accidents. The cause of construction-sector work-accidents as much as 40% came from unsafe behavior from workers. Unsafe behavior is described as the possibility of individuals not following safety standards, procedures, instructions, and criteria specific to the work that the organization applies to. According to a preliminary study, 6 out of 10 workers (60%) have unsafe behavior while working. Purpose: To find out the risk factors of unsafe behavior in construction workers at the Cartenz apartment construction project in Tower D, PT. Nusa Raya Cipta, Tangerang in 2021. Method: A cross-sectional design was used in this present study. The population and sample included 42 workers that were used as total sampling technique. The primary data were collected by questionnaire, whereas the analysis was done with the Chi-square test in bivariate analysis. Result: The analysis showed that 40.5% workers had unsafe behavior, 45.2% had poor knowledge, 31% showed bad attitudes, 52.4% had new work period, and 42.9% had poor supervision. Bivariate analysis indicated that knowledge (p-value 0.016), attitude (p-value 0.028), work period (p-value 0.004), and supervision (p-value 0.041) are associated with unsafe behavior. Conclusion: The risk factors of unsafe behavior in construction workers in Tangerang include knowledge, work period, attitudes, and supervision.

Abstract

Background: Eye fatigue is a symptom caused by excessive efforts of the visual system, which is in less than perfect condition to obtain visual acuity. This is influenced by gender, duration, and distance of viewing the monitor. Purpose: Analyze the factors and images related to eye fatigue in customer service employees at PT X in 2021. Method: Descriptive study with cross-sectional design with the total sampling method. The sample in this study was 50 people. The population in this study was 50. This research was conducted on December 27 – January 5, 2022. Data collection was obtained by collecting primary data and secondary data. Data were analyzed by univariate and bivariate using the Chi-square test. Result: That the highest proportion is found in employees who experience eye fatigue complaints as many as 44 people (88%), in employees aged ≤40 years as many as 42 people (84%), employees who have female sex as many as 32 people (64% ), employees who have a working period of >3 years as many as 45 people (90%), had computer use >8 hours a day as many as 46 people (92%), saw a monitor distance of 50 cm as many as 38 people (76%), and there was a relationship between gender (p-value = 0.001), duration of computer use (p-value = 0.004), monitor viewing distance (p-value = 0.002) with the incidence of eye fatigue in customer service employees at PT X in 2022. Conclusion: The results show that eye fatigue does not get worse by placing the computer in such a way that there is no light reflection, conducting periodic medical check-up, and educating employees to intersperse computer use time.

Abstract

Snacks have a significant role in the energy and nutrient intake of school-age children. School-age children have a penchant for consuming excessive amounts of different types of food. However, school snacks that are less guaranteed health can have risks that can cause digestive disorders, poisoning, and if it lasts for a long time can lead to poor nutritional status. This activity aims to increase students' knowledge through education about the importance of healthy snacks. This activity was carried out at the Baitul Quran Islamic Boarding School Al-Ikhwan Jakarta, on Saturday, 25 May 2024. Activities in the form of counselling about the importance of healthy snacks. To evaluate this educational activity, a questionnaire in the form of closed questions was given to students before and after education. The results of the activity showed that there was an increase in student knowledge about healthy snacks when compared between before (66.85%) increased to (92.27%) after education. This activity is expected that the nutrition education provided can improve nutritional knowledge and healthy snacking behaviour so as to create optimal nutritional status.

Abstract

Hypertension is one of the health disorders that can be fatal and is a leading cause of death worldwide, both in developed and developing countries. In Indonesia, hypertension ranks among the top ten causes of death, contributing 5.3%. According to the 2021 Riskesdas, the prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia is 34.1%, with 8.8% diagnosed and 13.3% undiagnosed. Health screening (MCU) results from workers at PT. X in 2023 showed that 13% of 138 workers had hypertension, and in May 2024, the prevalence increased to 20% among 120 workers. Although the increase is not significant, hypertension remains the second most common disease in the top ten list at PT. X in 2024. This study aims to identify factors associated with the occurrence of hypertension among office workers at PT. X in 2024. This is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. The sample size used in this study is 90 workers, selected using a system random sampling technique. Data collection was performed using secondary data obtained from the MCU results in 2024. Data were analyzed using the chi-square test, which showed a significant relationship between age (p=0.000), family history (p=0.000), body mass index (BMI) (p=0.000), and stress (p=0.000) with the incidence of hypertension among office workers at PT. X. Based on the findings of this study, it is recommended that the company strengthen its health education efforts for all workers, especially those with a family history of hypertension, and enhance prevention programs by educating healthy lifestyle practices, maintaining an ideal weight according to BMI, and conducting monthly blood pressure checks.

Abstract

The advancement of information and communication technology, along with post-pandemic changes, has transformed global work structures. Full-remote and hybrid work models remain widely implemented, offering both conveniences and challenges for employees. This study compares the quality of life and performance of full-remote and hybrid employees at Yayasan XYZ, South Jakarta. Using a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design, data were collected from 48 purposively sampled employees via questionnaires. The research results indicate that, based on the average scores obtained, full-remote employees exhibit a higher quality of life in the physical, psychological, and environmental domains, whereas hybrid employees excel in the social domain. The comparative analysis of quality of life revealed no significant differences between these two work models. In terms of performance, hybrid employees demonstrated higher productivity levels than full-remote employees, with an average score of 9.22 for full-remote and 9.64 for hybrid work models. However, the comparative analysis of performance also indicated no statistically significant differences between the two models. In conclusion, while there are variations in the experiences of employees working under full-remote and hybrid models, the comparative analysis confirms that there are no significant differences in terms of quality of life and performance between these two work models. The results of this study are expected to serve as a basis for Yayasan XYZ in formulating optimal work model policies to ensure employee well-being and productivity
