Abstract

Islamic educational philosophy is essentially a concept of thinking about education that is sourced from or based on the teachings of Islam. The philosophy of Islamic education is a discussion of the essence of Muslims' ability to be fostered, developed, and guided, so that they become human beings whose whole person is imbued with Islamic teachings. Because the problem of education is so complex and the interpretation of philosophy is so complicated, it is necessary to have learning methods and strategies in Islamic education, as well as the characteristics that need to be understood about modern-contemporary learning strategies.

Abstract

Learning strategies are plans and methods used by educators to facilitate students' learning processes and effectively achieve learning objectives. This article discusses various learning strategies that can be implemented in the classroom, such as cooperative learning, problem-based learning, and contextual learning. Cooperative learning emphasizes collaboration among students in small groups to build shared understanding. Problem-based learning encourages students to actively seek solutions to real-life problems, thereby enhancing critical and creative thinking skills. Meanwhile, contextual learning connects subject matter with everyday life situations to facilitate students' understanding and application. Furthermore, this article highlights the importance of selecting strategies that are appropriate to student characteristics, learning objectives, and available resources. With appropriate learning strategies, it is hoped that student motivation, participation, and learning outcomes can be significantly improved. Research and practice show that learning success is greatly influenced by teachers' ability to manage and implement varied and adaptive learning strategies. Therefore, the development of teacher competency in learning strategies needs to be continuously encouraged to create an effective and enjoyable learning process for students.

Abstract

Program Malam Bina Iman dan Taqwa (MABIT) merupakan salah satu bentuk pembinaan keagamaan yang ditujukan untuk penguatan karakter Islami dengan menanamkan dan memperkuat nilai-nilai karakter Islami pada masyarakat. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Desa Cibinong Hilir, Cianjur dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman, penghayatan, dan pengamalan ajaran Islam melalui aktivitas ibadah, kajian keislaman, serta pembiasaan akhlak mulia. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup pendidikan masyarakat melalui kajian, pelatihan ibadah, serta pendampingan nilai-nilai spiritual dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kesadaran religius, disiplin beribadah, dan terbentuknya perilaku sosial yang lebih baik di kalangan peserta. Dengan demikian, MABIT terbukti efektif sebagai strategi penguatan karakter Islami yang relevan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat di era globalisasi. Kesimpulan program malam bina iman dan taqwa (MABIT) mampu membangun karakter yang islami sehingga terciptanya masyarakat yang baldatun thayyibatun wa rabbun ghafur yaitu suatu masayarakat yang ideal yang memiliki kebaikan alam, kemakmuran, dan penduduk yang berperilaku baik sehingga mendapatkan ampunan dari Allah SWT.
