Abstract

ABSTRACT Background: The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that every year more than 200 million pregnant women, most pregnancies end in the birth of live babies to healthy mothers, even though in some cases, birth is not a happy event but becomes a comfortable period. They fill with pain, fear, suffering, and even death. Hypnobirthing is carried out for mothers in labor to create calm conditions for the mother to reduce tension and anxiety and minimize pain during delivery. This study aims to determine the effect of hypnobirthing on reducing pain in mothers in the first stage of labor. Method: This research design is quantitative research, where the research design used is Quasi Experiment with Pre test-Post test Design without a control group. The sample for this research was mothers giving birth in the 1st stage in June-August 2022 at BPS Irawati using a minimum experimental sample size of 15 mothers giving birth. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. Data analysis by univariate analysis test, bivariate analysis test Wilcoxon Test. Result: The results of the study, before being given hypnobirthing, nine people experienced unbearable pain, and six people weighed. Whereas the mothers who gave hypnobirthing experienced mild pain, 13 people and two had moderate pain. Based on the results of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test calculation, the p-value is 0.001.There is an effect of hypnobirthing on reducing birth pain in mothers in the first stage. It recommends that midwives apply hypnobirthing in the care of birthing mothers to reduce labor pain. Keyword: Hypnobirthing, Pain, Intranatal 1st Stage

Abstract

Antenatal Care merupakan salah satu tiang penyangga safe motherhood dalam upaya menurunkan angka kesakitan dan kematian ibu dan janin. Asuhan inidibuat untuk mengontrol masa kehamilan ibu. WHO memperkirakan 500.000 ibu hamil meninggal karena komplikasi yang berhubungan dengan kehamilan. Angka inimenjelaskan bahwa ibu yang kurang memanfaatkan kunjungan Antenatal Careberesiko tidak mengetahui masalah ataupun penyakit yang menyertai kehamilannya.Terdapat faktor yang bisa mempengaruhi kunjungan Antenatal Care diantaranyaperan tenaga kesehatan dan dukungan keluarga. Penurunan angka kematian ibu melahirkan menjadi salah satu dari delapantujuan yang dirumuskan dalam komitmen internasional Millenium DevelopmentGoals (MDGs) untuk pembangunan jangka panjang kesehatan Indonesia tahun 2005sampai tahun 2025 yang isinya untuk meningkatkan derajat kesehatan masyarakatmelalui peningkatan akses terhadap pelayanan kesehatan yang mencakup,meningkatnya Umur Harapan Hidup (UHH) dari 69 tahun pada tahun 2013 menjadi73,7 tahun pada tahun 2025, menurunnya Angka Kematian Bayi (AKB) dari 32,3pada tahun 2018 menjadi 15,5 pada tahun 2025. Dalam mensukseskan hal tersebut pemerintah Indonesia menerapkan kegiatan pelayanan kesehatan seperti asuhan antenatal yang membantu meningkatkan kualitas kesehatan bagi ibu hamil (Erlina,2018).

Abstract

In pregnant women aged 28-38 weeks, it is known that 80% experience swelling of the legs. This swelling is due to the accumulation of excessive fluid which is influenced by the hormone estrogen during pregnancy. Foot sequencing can minimize swelling and the brain will produce something so that the body calms down. Soaking the feet in warm water mixed with grated kencur is useful as a compress for swelling because it contains essential oils. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of sequencing and soaking foot in warm water mixed with grated kencur to reduce leg swelling in pregnant women. The research method used a quasi-experimental without using a control group. The research location at BPM Hj. Ramayati Pohan Aceh Singkil District in April-February 2022. The sample used a purposive sample technique. The number of samples was 20 pregnant women who experienced leg swelling at 28-38 weeks of gestation. The Wilcoxon test was used in the bivariate test of this study. The results showed that there is an effect on the effectiveness of sequencing and soaking foot in warm water mixed with grated kencur in reducing leg swelling in pregnant women.

Abstract

Early childhood nutritional problems have an impact on growth and development delays that are difficult to cure. Therefore children who have nutritional problems have limited abilities to learn and work and behave compared to normal children and have quite a large potential if they grow into adults who are less healthy. The problem of undernutrition or stunting in Indonesia is still a concern for the government. The prevalence of malnutrition and undernutrition, as much as 3.9% with malnutrition and 13.8% with undernutrition. The prevalence is related to height, there are 11.5% very short and 19.3% short toddlers. The incidence of undernutrition or stunting at the Amplas Health Center in Medan city in August 2022 was 10 people occurring in early childhood. In general, the feeding schedule for early childhood is 3 main meals and 2 side dishes, by providing side dishes in the form of snacks/snacks or healthy snacks that can help meet their nutritional needs. These children's snacks can use local food ingredients because of the affordability of prices and the availability of these ingredients in the surrounding environment. Aisyiyah Integrated PAUD Medan Amplas District is one of the early childhood education centers that carries out learning in an educative and interesting way. In addition, the implementation of monitoring from health workers includes body weight, height and head circumference periodically once a month, but this examination is not balanced with the mother's knowledge about the causes of undernutrition, and complementary food given to children to improve the child's nutritional status to be good To help Aisyiyah Early Childhood Education in increasing knowledge of overcoming the problem of malnutrition in early childhood, it is necessary to socialize education about the use of food from jackfruit seed flour to make biscuits. Utilization Jackfruit seed is a non-economic material and as a waste product for jackfruit consumers. Based on the description above, the problems that can be formulated include how to increase the knowledge of mothers who have early childhood at PAUD Aisyiyah in Medan Amplas about preventing nutritional problems and using jackfruit seeds to make biscuits as a snack. The target of this community service activity is mothers who have early childhood. The purpose of this activity is for mothers with young children to know how to prevent nutritional problems, know the content of jackfruit seeds to prevent nutritional problems and can use jackfruit seed biscuits to prevent nutritional problems in children. The method of implementing the community service which was carried out on January 6, 2023 included delivering community service materials, direct practice (learning by doing) making biscuits from jackfruit seed flour, and providing assistance.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Global Breastfeeding evaluates 194 countries, and only 40% of babies get exclusive Breastfeeding. Soy milk contains acids, polyphenols, steroids, and flavonoids which can stimulate oxytocin and prolactin hormonally to produce breast milk. This study aimed to determine the effect of soy milk on increasing milk production in postpartum mothers in the Work Area of the Johan Pahlawan Health Center.The research design in this study was to use a Quasy Experimental approach design with the form of One Group Pre-test and Post-test. The sampling technique in this study was a purposive sampling technique with criteria, namely postpartum mothers who were willing to be respondents, postpartum mothers who were three until seven days, not sick, did not use breast milk boosters, and the sample size was 15 people, the bivariate test used in this study was the paired t-test. The data obtained are the pre-test minimum value of 25, a maximum of 55, and a standard deviation of 0.9804, while the post-test minimum of 50 has a maximum of 67 and a standard deviation of 0.5632. From the statistical test results, namely the paired t-test with a confidence level of 95%, it is known that the P-value = 0.000 <0.05. This study concludes that giving soy milk increases milk production in postpartum mothers in the Working Area of the Johan Pahlawan Health Center. It is hoped that the results of this study can be a choice for postpartum mothers to expedite Breastfeeding in a non-pharmacological way, namely by using soy milk. Keywords: Soybeans, Breast Milk Production, Postpartum Mothers  ABSTRAK The Global Breastfeeding mengevaluasi 194 negara, hanya 40% bayi yang mendapatkan ASI ekslusif. Susu kedelai mengandung alkoid, polifenol, steroid, flavonoid yang dapat merangsang oksitosin dan prolaktin secara hormonal untuk memproduksi ASI.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh susu kedelai terhadap peningkatan produksi ASI pada ibu nifas di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Johan Pahlawan. Desain penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan desain pendekatan Quasy Eksperiment dengan bentuk One Group Pre-test and Post-test. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria yaitu ibu nifas yang bersedia menjadi responden, ibu nifas 3-7 hari, tidak sedang sakit, tidak menggunakan pelancar ASI jumlah sampel sebanyak 15 orang, uji bivariat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji paired t test. Data yang diperoleh yaitu pre-test nilai minimum 25 maksimum 55 dan standard deviasi 0,9804 sedangkan post-test minimum 50 maksimum 67 dan standard deviasi sebesar 0,5632. Dari hasil uji statisik yaitu dengan uji uji paired t test dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%, diketahui nilai P-value= 0,000 < 0,05. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah adanya pengaruh pemberian susu kedelai terhadap peningkatan produksi ASI pada ibu nifas di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Johan Pahlawan. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi pilihan ibu nifas untuk melancarkan ASI dengan cara non farmakologi yaitu menggunakan susu kedelai. Kata Kunci: Kacang Kedelai, Produksi ASI, Ibu Nifas

Abstract

According to WHO about 75% of women in the world will definitely experience vaginal discharge at least once in their lifetime, and around 45% will experience vaginal discharge twice or more. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of Vulva Hygiene and the use of contraception with vaginal discharge in women of BA women at Pratama Ananda Clinic in Medan in 2019. This type of research used an analytic survey, with a cross-sectional approach, the population in this study were all BA women and the samples were taken using accidental sampling technique amounted 38 respondents. data Analysis used Univariate and Bivariate Analyses to prove the correlation between the independent and dependent variables with the chi-square test. Results of the study were tested using chi-square obtained Vulva Hygiene results with p-value (.008) < (.05) and contraception use with p-value (.032) < (.05). This study is that there is a relationship between Vulva Hygiene and Use of contraception with Leucorrhoea in BA Women in Ananda Clinic, Medan.

Abstract

North Sumatra is listed as a province with a high incidence of stunting at 32.4% (concise 13.2% and short 19.2%). The products of tempeh flour sausage mixed with oyster mushrooms and tofu pulp flour sausage mixed with the banana heart present a nutrient-rich food sausage product that is good for consumption by children. The study aimed to determine the effectiveness before and after giving tempeh flour sausage mixed with oyster mushrooms and tofu pulp flour sausage mixed with the banana heart on the increase in the height of stunted toddlers. Type of quantitative research with the pre-experimental method with pretest and posttest control group design. This research is located in Belawan Sicanang Village, Medan Belawan District. Samples in the study were toddlers who were stunted with sampling using the purposive sampling technique. The intervention gave tempeh flour sausage mixed with oyster mushrooms for 60 consecutive days in the first intervention group and sausage flour combined with a banana heart for 60 straight days in the second intervention group and did nothing in the control group. Based on the Paired Samples Test, the oyster mushroom mixed tempeh flour sausage group sig value is 0.000, the banana heart mixed tofu pulp sausage intervention group sig 0.000, and in the control group, the sig value is 0.078. There is an effectiveness of giving tempeh flour sausage mixed with oyster mushrooms on the height of stunted toddlers.

Abstract

Breastfeeding is an ideal way for mothers to give love to their children and the best way to fulfill the baby's nutrition. Breastfeeding technique is a way of giving breast milk to a mother to a baby. The study aimed to determine the average difference before and after counseling on correct breastfeeding techniques at the Pratama Hanum Tanjung Mulia Clinic, Medan City. This type of research is a quasi-experiment with a one-group pre and post-test design. The population in the study was 20 breastfeeding mothers who had babies aged 0-12 months. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. Data were analyzed by carrying out normality tests and Wilcoxson tests.  Results: Before the counseling was carried out, the majority of breastfeeding techniques were 12 people (60%), while 8 people (40%) had good breastfeeding techniques. After counseling, it was found that 2 people (10%) had poor breastfeeding techniques, while 18 mothers (90%) had good breastfeeding techniques. From the results of the analysis using the Wilcoxson test, a significant value of p = 0.002 < 0.05 was obtained. There is an influence of Breastfeeding Technique Counseling on Breastfeeding Practices for Breastfeeding Mothers at the Pratama Hanum Tanjung Mulia Clinic. It is recommended that health workers at the Pratama Hanum Tanjung Mulia Clinic, Medan City, be more effective in providing understanding to mothers about correct breastfeeding techniques.   Keywords: Breastfeeding Techniques, Breastfeeding Practices, Breastfeeding Mothers

Abstract

ABSTRAK Stunting menggambarkan ketidaktercapaian tinggi badan sesuai umur yang disebabkan karena mengalami kurang gizi menahun atau kronis. Stunting pada balita perlu mendapatkan perhatian khusus karena dapat menyebabkan terhambatnya pertumbuhan fisik, perkembangan mental dan status kesehatan pada anak. Angka prevalensi stunting Sumatera Utara (Sumut) kini berada di bawah angka persentase nasional. Berdasarkan Survei Status Gizi Indonesia (SSGI), angka prevalensi Sumut pada tahun 2022 sebesar 21,1%. Tujuan mengadakan pengabdian ini untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada ibu-ibu yang memiliki balita membuat makanan sehat yang bernama Soceting dan produk yang dihasilkan dari pelatihan ini dapat dijadikan sebagai makanan/jajanan sehari-hari untuk balita dan anak-anak. Kegiatan dilaksanan pada Agustus 2024 di wilayah Kelurahan Belawan Sicanang dengan melibatkan 15 orang yaitu ibu-ibu yang memiliki balita. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi 80% mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan pelatihan mengenai stunting dan pembuatan Soceting. Kesimpulan kegiatan ini peserta telah mendapatkan manfaat dari kegiatan pengabdian yang dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu dalam pembuatan Soceting. Sebagai tindak lanjut kegiatan ini maka tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat akan melakukan kegiatan lanjutan untuk melakukan pelatihan kepada  Tim Kelompok Kerja (Pokja) Posyandu agar bisa melatih ibu yang memiliki balita dalam pembuatan makanan yang bergizi tinggi dalam upaya pencegahan stunting pada saat kegiatan posyandu diadakan. Kata Kunci: Sosis, Pencegahan Dini, Stunting   ABSTRACT Stunting describes the inability to achieve height according to age due to chronic or chronic malnutrition. Stunting in toddlers needs special attention because it can cause delays in physical growth, mental development, and health status in children. The stunting prevalence rate for North Sumatra (North Sumatra) is now below the national percentage rate. Based on the Indonesian Nutrition Status Survey (SSGI), the North Sumatra prevalence rate in 2022 will be 21.1%. The aim of holding this service is to provide training to mothers with toddlers to make healthy food called Soceting and the products produced from this training can be used as daily food/snacks for toddlers and children. The activity was carried out in August 2024 in the Belawan Sicanang sub-district area involving 15 people, namely mothers with toddlers. Based on the evaluation results, 80% experienced increased knowledge and skills before and after training regarding stunting and creating Soceting. This activity concludes that participants have benefited from service activities as evidenced by the increase in mothers' knowledge and skills in making Soceting. As a follow-up to this activity, the community service team will carry out follow-up activities to conduct training for the Posyandu Working Group Team (Pokja) so that they can train mothers with toddlers in making highly nutritious food to prevent stunting when Posyandu activities are held. Keywords: Sausage, Early Prevention, Stunting

Abstract

Data dari Badan Kesehatan Dunia (WHO) menunjukkan 18% balita di negara berkembang mengalami berat badan kurang. Dari 100 ibu balita, rata-rata hanya sekitar 20 sampai 30 ibu balita yang berkunjung ke Posyandu. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan (Pengetahuan, Pendidikan, Pekerjaan, Sikap dan Dukungan Keluarga) terhadap ketidakaktifan ibu balita dalam kegiatan Posyandu di Desa Padang Kleng Kecamatan Teunom Kabupaten Aceh Jaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain analitik pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi sebanyak 100 ibu balita. Sampel populasi total, analisis menggunakan uji chi square univariat dan bivariat. Hasil penelitian pengetahuan dengan ketidakaktifan ibu balita dalam kegiatan posyandu menunjukkan hasil uji chi square nilai p = 0,001 < 0,005, hasil uji chi square pendidikan dengan ketidakaktifan ibu balita dalam kegiatan posyandu nilai p = 0,220 > 0,005, tabulasi silang pekerjaan dengan ketidakaktifan ibu balita dalam kegiatan posyandu nilai p = 0,511 > 0,005, sedangkan hasil uji chi square sikap ibu terhadap ketidakaktifan ibu balita dalam kegiatan posyandu menunjukkan nilai p = 0,016 < 0,05 dan hasil uji chi square menunjukkan nilai p = 0,002 < 0,05 antara dukungan keluarga dengan ketidakaktifan ibu balita dalam kegiatan posyandu di Desa Padang Kleng Kecamatan Teunom. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan antara pengetahuan, sikap dan dukungan keluarga dengan ketidakaktifan ibu balita dalam kegiatan Posyandu di Desa Padang Kleng Kecamatan Teunom Kabupaten Aceh Jaya dan tidak ada hubungan antara pendidikan, pekerjaan dengan ketidakaktifan ibu balita dalam kegiatan Posyandu di Desa Padang Kleng Kecamatan Teunom Kabupaten Aceh Jaya. Saran yang diharapkan dari tenaga kesehatan di Desa Padang Kleng agar meningkatkan pelayanan edukasi dan penyuluhan kepada ibu balita tentang manfaat posyandu agar ibu balita lebih aktif dalam beraktivitas di Posyandu
