Abstract

This research uses a qualitative research method with a library research approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through literature review studies by referring to relevant and recent reference sources. This research aims to analyse the relationship between character education and the Qur'an and Hadist. The operational definition of variables includes character education, the Qur'an, and Hadist. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of character education based on the values of the Qur'an and Hadist. Character education based on the Qur'an and Hadist is a strategic effort to build a generation that has a superior personality, noble character, and is oriented towards spiritual values. This article aims to analyse the concept of character education in the perspective of the Qur'an and Hadist and its implications for educational practices in the modern era. Using a qualitative approach through a literature study, this research reveals that core values such as honesty, responsibility, and compassion are at the core of character building according to Islamic teachings. The implications of this analysis show the importance of integrating these values in the education curriculum to create harmony between science and spiritual values.

Abstract

Hand sanitizer dalam bentuk spray memiliki daya bunuh kuman yang lebih efektif. Salah satu tanaman yang berpotensi sebagai antimikroba adalah tanaman belimbing wuluh (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) dengan kandungan flavonoid, alkaloid, saponin, steroid dan tanin. Hand sanitizer yang terbuat dari bahan alam lebih aman bagi kulit yang sensitif dan dapat mengurangi resiko iritasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat sediaan hand sanitizer spray dari ekstrak buah belimbing wuluh. Metode  penelitian merupakan penelitian eksperimental dengan tahap awal pengambilan bahan sampel, pembuatan simplisia serta pembuatan ekstrak dan pembuatan sediaan hand sanitizer spray dari ekstrak etanol buah belimbing wuluh (Averrhoa bilimbi L.)  dengan konsentrasi 10%, 12% dan 15% dan menguji aktivitas antibakteri terhadap pertumbuhan bakteri Staphylococcus aureus. Hasil penelitian yaitu ekstrak etanol buah belimbing wuluh dapat diformulasikan menjadi hand sanitizer, memiliki uji evaluasi sediaan yang baik dan juga sebagai aktivitas antibakteri terhadap bakteri Staphylococcus aureus dengan zona hambat F1 (10%) sebesar (7,92±1,2 mm), F2 (12%) sebesar (9,58±0,7 mm), F3 (15%) sebesar (11,63±1,8 mm). Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah sediaan hand sanitizer spray ekstrak etanol buah belimbing wuluh memiliki aktivitas antibakteri terhadap bakteri Staphylococcus aureus dengan konsentrasi yang efektif yaitu F3 (15%) dikatakan dalam kategori “sedang”.
