Kulit kopi ceri memiliki potensi tinggi sebagai bahan bernilai guna tetapi pemanfaatan sebagai pertanian berkelanjutan masih terbatas, termasuk di Kampung Batuloceng, Desa Suntenjaya, Lembang. Padahal, limbah kopi dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bagian dari ekonomi sirkular melalui pendekatan waste to product untuk mengurangi pencemaran dan meningkatkan nilai tambah ekonomi. Kesenjangan tersebut menunjukkan penerapan model pelatihan partisipatif yang mampu meningkatkan literasi lingkungan masyarakat. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi lingkungan yang dioperasionalkan melalui tiga aspek: pengetahuan, pemahaman manfaat, dan kesiapan praktik pengelolaan limbah kopi. Enam peserta (masyarakat) mengikuti kegiatan sosialisasi literasi lingkungan dengan pemaparan materi dan diskusi berkaitan dengan pengolahan limbah kopi menjadi Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) dan teh cascara. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui wawancara terstruktur dengan skoring 1–4 sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pengetahuan (12%), pemahaman manfaat (44%), dan kesiapan praktik (24%). Kegiatan ini tidak hanya mengurangi potensi pencemaran, tetapi juga membuka peluang ekonomi baru melalui produk olahan limbah bernilai jual. Program ini pun diharapkan berkontribusi pula pada capaian SDGs 12 mengenai konsumsi dan produksi yang berkelanjutan di samping memperkuat literasi lingkungan berbasis praktik di tingkat masyarakat. Enhancing Community Environmental Literacy Through the Socialization of Coffee Waste Processing into Liquid Organic Fertilizer and Cascara Tea Abstract Cherry coffee husks have high potential as a valuable ingredient but its use as sustainable agriculture is still limited, including in Batuloceng Village, Suntenjaya Village, Lembang. In fact, coffee waste can be used as part of the circular economy through a waste-to-product approach to reduce pollution and increase economic added value. This gap shows the application of a participatory training model that is able to improve community environmental literacy. This community service aims to increase environmental literacy which is operationalized through three aspects: knowledge, understanding of benefits, and readiness for coffee waste management practices. Six participants (the community) participated in environmental literacy socialization activities with presentations and discussions related to the processing of coffee waste into Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) and cascara tea. Evaluation was carried out through structured interviews with scoring of 1–4 before and after the activity. Results showed significant improvements in knowledge (12%), understanding of benefits (44%), and readiness for practice (24%). This activity not only reduces the potential for pollution, but also opens up new economic opportunities through processed waste products with selling value. This program is also expected to contribute to the achievement of SDGs 12 regarding sustainable consumption and production in addition to strengthening practice-based environmental literacy at the community level.
