Abstract

Abstract

Kata kunci: peniris minyak, spinner otomatis, produktivitas, kerupuk, bawang goreng   Abstract Industries of snacks such as crackers and fried onions face challenges in reducing excess oil content post-frying. Manual draining has proven to be inefficient, taking a long time and producing inconsistent results. This research aims to develop and test an automatic oil drainer equipped with a timer and dimmer to improve the efficiency and quality of MSME production. The research process includes needs analysis, design, prototyping, testing, and analysis of results. The results show that the machine is able to drain 2 kg of fried onions in 2 minutes with 95.5% efficiency and 1 kg of crackers in the same time with 97.5% efficiency. The draining speed reached 238.75 ml/kg/min for fried onions and 487.5 ml/kg/min for crackers. This machine is proven to improve speed, quality of results, and reduce labor costs. With an ergonomic design and automatic system, this tool is very feasible to support the productivity and sustainability of local food MSME

Abstract

Electricity is one of the most important human needs today, as over time almost all inhabitants will need electricity in every aspect of their lives, from urban to rural areas. In Indonesia, people generally get power from PLN (State Electricity Company). The demand for electrical energy increasingly exceeds the availability of the electrical energy of PLN, so alternative energy is needed to make up for the shortage of electrical energy. As a tropical country, Indonesia has significant potential to use solar energy as electrical energy, because solar energy is a renewable energy that is cheap, simple and above all environmentally friendly and always available. In Kweden Hamlet, Karangrejo village, Ngasem district, Kediri Regency, there are 2 graves used by all residents of Kweden Hamlet. A special grave for certain families and a general grave generally used by the entire population of the hamlet of Kweden. In the hamlet of Kweden, it is customary for anyone who dies at any time of the day, noon, or even midnight to be buried immediately. Sufficient lighting is therefore needed in the grave area so that the burial process from grave digging to burial can be carried out as well as possible. Due to the limited number of light points, poor installation and sometimes delayed payment of electricity bills, the lighting in the burial space is not optimal. The lack of information about alternative electrical energy still makes the population of the hamlet of Kweden dependent on the electrical energy supplied by PLN. The solution offered to solve the problems in the hamlet of Kweden is to illuminate the tomb with solar panel lighting so that there is no monthly fee, and to educate the public that there is alternative electrical energy that uses renewable energy which is easy and cheap. Based on the area of the grave, the number of required solar panel lamps is determined to be 24 lamps. Meanwhile, education in alternative electrical energy managed to change people's perception of it and saw a significant increase from where 82.61% of respondents previously said solar panels were expensive. Training showed that only 26.09% of respondents said solar panels are expensive.

Abstract

The 5R method (Concise, Neat, Cool, Caring, Diligent) is a method that aims to maintain the cleanliness of the work area at all times, eliminating waste in moving goods and waste in searching for tools and materials. The 5R method can be integrated into various fields, such as: information technology, health, education, small and medium enterprises, to social organizations. The 5R culture is a technical step that aims to foster attitudes and behaviors, thus forming a culture of discipline on every front. The habit of practicing 5R also encourages continuous improvement in various fields. Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Amdadiyah Ngasem as one of the educational institutions every year always has new students so there is a lot of data that must be recapitulated and stored both in the form of softcopy and hardcopy. If it is not managed properly, archiving data will be a problem so that when the data is needed, it will take a long time to get it. The extracurricular activities fostered in this Madrasah are quite a lot, with a lot of extracurriculars, of course, there are many necessary equipment. The arrangement and maintenance of the equipment used must be considered so that the equipment is easy to find if needed and becomes more durable. Therefore, a system is needed that can be used to improve data archiving and equipment structuring and maintenance. The solution offered to solve existing problems is to implement a 5R culture. From the socialization, data was obtained that as many as 89% of respondents expressed interest in implementing 5R both in Madrasah and at home and there were only 11% who expressed interest in implementing 5R in Madrasah only. From the questionnaire provided, it is also known that 56% of respondents believe that 5R can be applied and there are 44% of respondents who state that 5R may be applicable in MTs Amdadiyah Kweden. The reasons for the 44% of respondents who stated that 5R might be workable were: lack of knowledge about 5R (38%), cost (38%), commitment of all elements of the school (24%).
