Abstract

The accelerating transformation of Industry 4.0 has increased the strategic importance of developmental leadership practices capable of strengthening employee adaptability, resilience, and performance. This study investigates the role of managerial coaching as a human-centered leadership approach in enhancing employee performance, with psychological capital serving as the key mediating mechanism. Drawing on Organizational Support Theory (OST), Conservation of Resources Theory (COR), and Positive Organizational Behavior (POB), the study examines how coaching behaviors stimulate employees’ internal psychological resources—hope, efficacy, optimism, and resilience—in digitally intensive workplaces. Using a quantitative survey of 224 employees in a manufacturing firm in Indonesia, data were analyzed through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results reveal that managerial coaching exerts a positive and significant direct effect on employee performance and an indirect effect through psychological capital. Psychological capital emerged as a strong mediator, indicating that employees who receive developmental coaching are more capable of activating positive psychological resources that translate into superior performance. This study extends existing coaching literature by integrating contemporary psychological frameworks and highlights managerial coaching as a critical strategy for developing high-performing and future-ready human capital in the digital era. Practical implications encourage organizations to institutionalize coaching cultures and invest in psychological resource development to sustain competitiveness in Industry 4.0.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai dampak dari dukungan organisasi yang dirasakan terhadap kinerja dosen perguruan tinggi swasta di Tangerang, dengan keterlibatan dosen sebagai mediator. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode simple random sampling dalam komunitas dosen perguruan tinggi swasta di Tangerang, yang menghasilkan 231 respon kuesioner yang valid. Analisis data menggunakan pendekatan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 3.0. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara dukungan organisasi yang dirasakan dan kinerja dosen, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui mediasi keterlibatan dosen. Penelitian ini memperkenalkan model baru yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja dosen di institusi pendidikan tinggi swasta di Tangerang dengan meningkatkan dukungan organisasi yang dirasakan, dengan keterlibatan dosen yang berfungsi sebagai mediator penting. Implikasi dari penelitian ini dapat berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kesiapan dosen dalam menghadapi tantangan Pendidikan 4.0.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of team characteristics (such as team efficacy) and environmental factors (such as emotional intelligence climate) on engineering team performance based on social cognitive theory (SCT). Data were collected through 157 questionnaires from engineering employees of a manufacturing company in Indonesia using random sampling method. Data analysis was conducted using SEM method with SmartPLS 4.0 software. The proposed model shows that work team planning acts as a mediator between team efficacy, emotional intelligence climate, and team performance. The findings provide an in-depth understanding of the factors that influence team performance in the context of the manufacturing industry. The results suggest that work team planning plays an important role in improving team performance through the effects of team efficacy and emotional intelligence climate. The practical implication of this study is the importance of company management to pay attention to both antecedents of team performance, both in terms of personal (efficacy) and environmental (emotional intelligence climate) in an effort to improve engineering team performance in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Kegiatan seminar setengah hari tentang penerapan disiplin positif di sekolah bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman mendalam kepada para kepala sekolah dan guru SMA tentang konsep, prinsip, serta strategi implementasi disiplin positif. Melalui paparan materi, diskusi, dan pertukaran pengalaman, peserta diberi wawasan tentang pentingnya disiplin positif dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang inklusif dan mendukung pertumbuhan siswa secara holistik. Kepala sekolah dan guru diberdayakan untuk menjadi agen perubahan dalam menerapkan praktik disiplin positif di sekolah mereka, dengan fokus pada pembangunan hubungan positif antara siswa dan pendidik, pembinaan keterampilan sosial-emosional siswa, dan pembentukan budaya sekolah yang mendukung. Hasilnya, peserta mengekspresikan antusiasme dan keinginan untuk terlibat dalam seminar lanjutan guna meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan mereka dalam menerapkan disiplin positif, serta untuk terus memperbaiki lingkungan belajar di sekolah mereka.
