Abstract

This research examines the religious values in the novel Saga dari Samudra by Ratih Kumala. A novel is a long prose essay, containing a series of stories about a person's life and the people around him, highlighting the character and nature of each actor. Literary works created by authors must contain certain life values that will be conveyed to readers, various life values that the author wants to convey through his work, one of which is religious values. The formulation of the problem in this research is the religious values contained in the novel Saga dari Samudra by Ratih Kumala. The aim of this research is to describe the religious values in the novel Saga dari Samudra by Ratih Kumala. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The data source in this research is the novel Saga dari Samudra published by Gramedia Pustaka Utama in 2023, which consists of 193 pages. Data collection techniques in this research were carried out using reading techniques and note-taking techniques. The data analysis technique in analyzing religious values in the novel Saga dari Samudra by Ratih Kumala uses a literary sociology approach. The results of the analysis show that religious values in the novel Saga dari Samudra by Ratih Kumala are religious values in human relationships with God, religious values in human relationships with themselves, and religious values in human relationships with other humans. Religious values in human relationships with God, which consist of worship, faith and gratitude. Religious values in humans' relationship with themselves, which consist of being patient, seeking knowledge, sincerity and introspection. Religious values in human relationships with other humans, which consist of forgiveness, mutual help, compassion, keeping promises, and upholding justice.

Abstract

The problem in this research concerns the variety of languages ​​found on Instagram social media and the various characteristics of the linguistic varieties found on Instagram social media. This research aims to describe the variety of languages ​​and the characteristics of the various languages ​​present on the Instagram social network, finding the contribution of the various languages ​​on the Instagram social network. The research method used in this research is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Meanwhile, the methods and techniques used to analyze the data are note reading and screen capture method. And the data presentation method used in this research is the observation method. The data search results are as follows: Language varieties according to their characteristics are divided into 8 focuses, namely as follows: (1) Writing words different from the original form, (2) Writing shortened words, (3) Writing sentences different from the original form, (4)) Writing shortened sentences, (5) Using symbols and numbers, (6) Using greetings, (7) Using other varieties of language, and (8) Using foreign languages. Furthermore, various slang languages ​​have been taken and are often used on Instagram based on the type and meaning, namely: In the prokem there are 4 words that have been chosen to represent the use of various languages ​​on Instagram, namely: @ memecomic.id "roasting", @jakartakeras "udh", @kendariinfo “matchday” @vidiongakakterbaru “guru”. The results of this analysis can contribute to the teaching of Indonesian at university.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perjuangan tokoh dalam novel Dia yang Haram karya Isrina Sumia. Manfaat yang diharapkan dari penelitian ini adalah dapat dijadikan sebagai referensi oleh pembaca untuk menambah pengalaman dan wawasan dalam memahami perjuangan, dapat digunakan sebagai bahan informasi bagi yang berminat melakukan penelitian tentang perjuangan, serta menjadi rujukan bagi pembaca yang ingin meneliti novel yang sama. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber penelitian ini adalah teks novel Dia yang Haram karya Isrina Sumia dengan jumlah 381 halaman yang diterbitkan oleh CV Mitra Sentosa pada tahun 2023. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik membaca kritis dan teknik analisis. Dalam penelitian ini akan dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Sosiologi sastra merupakan kajian yang menelaah hubungan antara interaksi sosial dalam karya sastra. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa novel ini menunjukkan perjuangan tokoh dalam novel Dia yang Haram karya Isrina Sumia, yaitu (1) perjuangan untuk hidup, (2) perjuangan meraih cita-cita, dan (3) perjuangan mendapatkan kasih sayang.
