Abstract

In modern research in education, learning independence plays a very important role, especially in the digital era where flexibility implies alignment of endurance. Although most universities in Indonesia use online learning, the consequences of this in the form of academic independence are still unknown. This study intended to model learning independence built with online learning and self-regulation in University of PGRI Mpu Sindok students. The study was conducted among 120 students divided into high and low groups using a quasi-experimental design with group randomization. The multiple linear regression analysis result was the model Y = 0.4923 + 0.6745X1 + 0.2289X2, where Y signifies learning independence, X1 signifies the Intuitiveness of using social learning platforms, and X2 signifies self-regulation. Overall, the model provided significant results p < 0.0001 and explained 50.27% of students' learning independence variation. There is an absence in the impact of using X2 self-regulation simultaneously as using X1 self-regulation. This empiricism concentrates on creating experimental strategies that use self-regulation with technological and educational tools in order to increase students' academic independence-validated in line with the digital era.

Abstract

Mata kuliah Micro Teaching merupakan mata kuliah wajib/ keprodian yang wajib ditempuh mahasiswa. Adapun untuk membiasakan para calon guru menerapkan setiap jenis keterampilan dasar mengajar secara profesional, sulit dikontrol dengan baik jika dilakukan melalui proses latihan atau kegiatan praktek mangajar secara langsung dalam kelas yang sebenarnya. Keterampilan dasar yang diterapkan dalam mata kuliah Micro Teaching ada 8 (delapan) antara lain: (1) Keterampilan Membuka dan Menutup Pelajaran , (2) Keterampilan Menjelaskan, (3) Keterampilan Mengadakan Variasi, (4) Keterampilan Memberikan Penguatan, (5) Keterampilan bertanya , (6) Keterampilan Mengelola Kelas, (7) Kemampuan Mengajar Kelompok Kecil dan Perorangan, dan (8) Keterampilan Membimbing Diskusi Kelompok Kecil (Barnawi dan Arifin, 2016). Keterampilan dasar yang diterapkan dalam mata kuliah Micro Teaching berbasis Project Based Learning (PjBL). Jenis penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menganalisis keterampilan dasar mengajar mahasiswa berbasis PjBl menggunakan video dan wawancara. Subjek yang digunakan 4 (empat) mahasiswa diambil dari 2 (dua) IPK tertinggi dan 2 (dua) IPK terendah. Hasil dari analisis video keempat subjek tersebut 3 (tiga) subjek memenuhi 8 (delapan) keterampilan dasar mengajar dan menerapkannya dalam praktik Micro Teaching. Dan 1 (satu) subjek memenuhi 7(tujuh) keterampilan dasar mengajar.
