Abstract

Salah satu inovasi pembelajaran yang dipakai saat ini untuk menunjang era Revolusi Industri 4.0 adalah Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematic (STEAM). Pada Lembaga TK Al-Hamidiyah pendekatan STEAM dikembangkan menjadi STEAMMI dengan memasukkan unsur Montessori dan Islamic. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan perencanaan dan pelaksanaan implementasi pendekatan STEAMMI dalam model pembelajaran kelompok. Subjek penelitian adalah dua orang guru kelompok TK B yang dipilih secara purposive. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data mencakup observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi.  Data yang diperoleh, dianalisis menggunakan model Miles and Huberman dengan empat tahapan yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan STEAMMI mencakup RPPM, RPPH, dan jadwal kegiatan. Pendekatan STEAMMI dilakukan dalam bentuk proyek, salah satunya adalah proyek “Adab Makan Sahur”. Pelaksanaan Pendekatan dari masing-masing bagian pada STEAMMI yang terlihat, yaitu: 1). Sains melalui pengumpulan informasi dari berbagai sumber yang disediakan guru; 2). Teknologi terlihat saat anak menggunakan berbagai media seperti gunting, lem, spidol, stik ice cream, dan kertas asturo; 3). Engineering melalui kegiatan menempel dan mengurutkan adab sahur; 4). Art melalui kegiatan menghias poster adab makan sahur; 5). Math terlihat melalui kegiatan mengurutkan gambar adab berbuka puasa; 6). Montessori terlihat saat menggunakan aparratus Montessori pada area practical life, sensorial, science & cultural, language and art, dan math; serta 7). Islamic terlihat melalui pelafalan doa sahur serta doa berbuka puasa bersama. Kesimpulan yang didapatkan adalah bahwa pendekatan STEAMMI dapat dimunculkan pada berbagai kegiatan pada satu proyek asalkan direncanakan dengan benar.

Abstract

Parents who have children with Down syndrome experience various dynamics and problems to be able to accept the circumstances that occur. Parents' self-acceptance is an important aspect in caring for, educating, and raising the baby. This study aims to determine the effect of self-acceptance on coping strategies of parents who have children with Down syndrome. Research using quantitative methods with a sample of 287 parents, who are members of the Down Syndrome Parents Association Foundation (POTADS). there are 46 statement items on the coping strategy scale (r = 0.873) and 16 items on the self-acceptance scale (r = 0.714) on a Likert model scale. The results of data analysis using simple linear regression tests show that there is a significant effect of self-acceptance on coping strategies with a sig value. <0.05. through the regression equation Ŷ= 77.608 + 1.090X. The correlation coefficient value is 0.489 and the coefficient of determination (R Square = 0.239). 23.9% self-acceptance influences the coping strategy of parents at the POTADS Foundation.

Abstract

The pesantren institutions have never lost interest from the young generation. An old pesantren continues the process, and new pesantren keep appearing. The education system and the institutions for pesantren are growing rapidly, as supported by facilities, infrastructure, and curriculum. They are adapted constanly according to the times. The halal center discourse is developing in the global world. It has made the continue of pesantren to offer applicative ideas. Then the institutions can become the promising center for religious tourism. This study used qualitative literature study and interviews to collect data that related to religious tourism in pesantren. It can be concluded that there are five potentials for developing religious tourism and halal centers in pesantren; such as the intrinsic value of the pesantren, the pattern of life, the environment and the surrounding community, the sacredness, and the spiritual atmosphere; and pesantren religious tourism aspect.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the ability to compose sentences in early childhood through the application of the storytelling method using finger puppet media. The focus of the research is directed toward the development of children's expressive language skills, especially in composing simple sentences that are sequential, meaningful, and contextually appropriate to the story. This study uses a Classroom Action Research (PTK) approach carried out in an early childhood institution with group B children as research subjects. The population in this study consists of all group B children, with a research sample of 10 children determined using a saturated sampling technique. The data analysis technique was conducted descriptively, qualitatively, and quantitatively by comparing the improvement in children's abilities in each action cycle. The results of the study show a significant increase in children's sentence-composing skills after the application of the storytelling method using puppets. Children became more active, confident in speaking, able to compose sentences with more complete structures, and showed great enthusiasm during storytelling activities. Improvements were observed in each cycle, both in terms of vocabulary, fluency in speaking, and the ability to tell stories coherently. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the storytelling method using finger puppet media is effective in improving the ability to compose sentences in early childhood. Therefore, it is recommended that PAUD teachers use wayang jari media as an alternative for creative and innovative learning.
