Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan TikTok terhadap perkembangan kemampuan bahasa formal pada siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian ex post facto. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada siswa kelas V dan VI MI Muhammadiyah 11 Bara Baraya dan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal. Uji hipotesis dengan uji sampel independen menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan TikTok tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan bahasa formal siswa. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa meskipun TikTok digunakan secara intensif oleh siswa, faktor lain dalam lingkungan pendidikan lebih dominan dalam mempengaruhi kemampuan bahasa formal mereka.

Abstract

The problem in this study relates to the variation in students’ mathematics achievement influenced by differences in learning facility use and parental education levels. Some parents have limited time to accompany their children in studying, while available learning facilities are not always used optimally. This study aims to describe the use of learning facilities, parental education levels, and their influence on students’ mathematics achievement at SDIT Azzahrah. This research employed a quantitative expost facto design with a sample of 30 students. Data were collected through questionnaires, parental education records, and mathematics report cards. Descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression were used for data analysis. The results showed that learning facility utilization was in the moderate category, parental education levels were medium to high, and mathematics achievement was in the fairly good category. However, inferential analysis revealed that both variables did not significantly influence mathematics achievement, either partially or simultaneously.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memperkuat peran guru madrasah ibtidaiyah sebagai agen perubahan berwawasan pendidikan lingkungan. Program ini berupaya meningkatkan kapasitas guru dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai kepedulian lingkungan ke dalam proses pembelajaran melalui pelatihan pembuatan eco-enzyme sebagai media yang mendukung pengelolaan limbah organik. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahap utama: (1) analisis kebutuhan untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat pemahaman awal guru; (2) pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam proses pembuatan eco-enzyme; dan (3) tahap implementasi dan evaluasi untuk menilai efektivitas kegiatan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam menerapkan konsep pendidikan lingkungan, yang ditunjukkan oleh kenaikan nilai dari pre-test sebesar 44,4% menjadi 55,6% pada post-test. Peningkatan tersebut mengindikasikan efektivitas kegiatan dalam memperkuat kompetensi pedagogis dan kesadaran ekologis guru. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini berkontribusi pada penguatan peran guru sebagai agen perubahan dalam mewujudkan sekolah berwawasan lingkungan dan diharapkan dapat menjadi model praktik baik (best practice) pendidikan lingkungan berbasis partisipasi guru di tingkat sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the implementation of science literacy-based learning assisted by the PhET Virtual Lab on the topic of dynamic electricity, designed in accordance with the PISA 2025 framework. The study employed a descriptive quantitative method involving 96 PGSD students from three classes at a Teacher Education Institution (LPTK) in Makassar City. The learning activities included case analysis, virtual experiments, the development of educational posters, and community outreach activities. Data were collected using a learning implementation observation sheet and analyzed descriptively using percentages. The results indicated that all stages of the learning process were implemented very well and successfully facilitated the integration of scientific competencies, scientific knowledge, environmental science, and science identity within a unified learning experience. These findings suggest that science literacy-based learning assisted by the PhET Virtual Lab has the potential to serve as a relevant instructional strategy for supporting the implementation of the PISA 2025 framework in the education of prospective elementary school teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of the use of Smart Box media in science learning, students' understanding of science concepts on the material of the state of matter and its changes, and the effect of the use of Smart Box media on the understanding of science concepts of fourth-grade students of SD Inpres Pare'-Pare', Gowa Regency. This study is an experimental study with a quantitative approach using a Quasi Experiment design of the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The study population was all fourth-grade students of SD Inpres Pare'-Pare', Gowa Regency. The study sample consisted of 29 students in the experimental class and 29 students in the control class selected using a purposive sampling technique. Research data were collected through observation sheets of learning implementation and student learning outcome tests. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis. The results showed that the implementation of learning using Smart Box media was in the very good category. In addition, students' understanding of science concepts on the material of the state of matter and its changes increased. This is indicated by the posttest scores of students in the experimental class which were higher than those in the control class. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of Smart Box media has an effect on the understanding of science concepts of fourth-grade students of SD Inpres Pare'-Pare', Gowa Regency.
