Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka (Independent Curriculum) in the subject of Pancasila Education for fourth-grade students at UPT SDN 22 Binamu. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants in this study consist of the school principal and subject teachers. The findings indicate that the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka has been carried out fairly well. This is evidenced by the adaptation of teaching materials and the application of contextual learning approaches. However, several obstacles were identified during its implementation, such as limited teacher understanding of the curriculum's concepts, lack of ongoing training, and inadequate supporting infrastructure. In general, teachers responded positively to the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka, as it provides flexibility in the design and execution of learning activities. Based on these findings, the study recommends continuous teacher training and improved educational facilities to support the successful implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kompetensi pedagogik mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) dalam mengajarkan matematika di sekolah dasar di Parepare. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain survei yang melibatkan 120 mahasiswa PGSD melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket kompetensi pedagogik dan tes kemampuan mengajar matematika. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi pedagogik mahasiswa berada pada kategori sedang dengan rata-rata skor 74,6. Aspek perencanaan pembelajaran memperoleh skor tertinggi (78,2), diikuti pelaksanaan pembelajaran (75,1), pemahaman karakteristik peserta didik (73,4), dan evaluasi pembelajaran (71,7). Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi pedagogik dan kemampuan mengajarkan matematika (r = 0,47; p < 0,05). Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan kompetensi pedagogik melalui pembelajaran yang lebih aplikatif dan berbasis praktik bagi calon guru sekolah dasar.
