Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji peranan manuskrip Melayu dalam pembentukan filsafat ilmu Islam di Nusantara dengan menempatkan manuskrip sebagai sumber epistemik yang merekam cara pandang keilmuan Islam dalam konteks lokal. Kajian ini berangkat dari kenyataan bahwa studi filsafat ilmu Islam selama ini masih didominasi oleh perspektif Timur Tengah sehingga kontribusi intelektual Islam Nusantara sering kali diposisikan sebagai periferal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana manuskrip Melayu membangun pemahaman tentang hakikat ilmu sumber pengetahuan serta tujuan penggunaan ilmu dalam kehidupan individu dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi kepustakaan dengan analisis konseptual filosofis terhadap manuskrip Melayu Islam dan literatur pendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manuskrip Melayu merepresentasikan filsafat ilmu Islam yang bersifat integratif antara wahyu akal dan pengalaman batin serta berorientasi pada adab dan tanggung jawab moral. Dari sisi ontologi ilmu dipahami sebagai realitas bernilai yang bersumber dari Tuhan. Secara epistemologis pengetahuan diperoleh melalui keterpaduan rasionalitas dan spiritualitas. Dari sisi aksiologi ilmu diarahkan pada pembentukan insan beradab dan pemeliharaan keteraturan sosial. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa manuskrip Melayu memiliki kontribusi signifikan dalam pengembangan filsafat ilmu Islam Nusantara yang kontekstual dan relevan bagi diskursus keilmuan Islam kontemporer.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education continues to face challenges related to the dominance of cognitive and normative approaches, which often cause religious values to remain at the level of knowledge rather than being internalized into students’ attitudes and behaviors. Along with the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, the Ministry of Religious Affairs introduced the Love-Based Curriculum as a value-oriented approach emphasizing compassion, empathy, tolerance, and humanity in the learning process. This article aims to examine and conceptualize the Love-Based Curriculum as a humanistic approach in Islamic Religious Education. This study employs a qualitative approach with a conceptual literature-based design, analyzing national and international scholarly sources published within the last five years as well as relevant educational policy documents. The findings indicate that the Love-Based Curriculum functions as a pedagogical approach that integrates values of love into learning relationships, habitus formation, and institutional culture. This approach addresses the limitations of formalistic Islamic education by promoting meaningful learning and contextual value internalization. The study concludes that the Love-Based Curriculum offers a significant contribution to the development of more humanistic, ethical, and contextually relevant Islamic Religious Education, although further empirical research is needed to validate its implementation and impact.

Abstract

Hadith instruction in Islamic education is still largely dominated by textual and normative approaches, which limit students’ contextual understanding and critical thinking skills. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of hermeneutical approaches in Hadith interpretation, to formulate a model for applying hermeneutics in Hadith instruction, and to examine its pedagogical implications for contemporary learning. This research employs a qualitative approach using library research methods, combined with hermeneutical, philosophical, and pedagogical analyses of recent Islamic and educational literature. The findings indicate that the hermeneutical approach emphasizes a dialogical relationship between the Hadith text, its historical context, and the reader’s horizon, enabling a more reflective and relevant understanding of Hadith. The application of hermeneutics in Hadith teaching can be operationalized through stages of pre-understanding, contextual analysis, dialogue between text and contemporary context, and critical reflection. Pedagogically, this approach implies a shift in learning objectives, dialogical teaching methods, and higher-order thinking-based assessment. This study contributes to the development of a contextual and adaptive model of Hadith instruction in contemporary Islamic education.
