Abstract

The existence of whale shark tourism in the area around Saleh Bay has not been fully utilized optimally by the local community to improve the economy. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between the influence of human resource competency development and whale shark tourism village product management on descriptive business opportunities and land use so that it can be a reference for the Labuhan Jambu community. The Labuhan Jambu community is the respondent of this study as a source for obtaining research data. The method used to analyze the relationship is the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with the Lisrel approach. The results of the study indicate that the development of human resource competencies in whale shark tourism villages has a positive but insignificant effect on descriptive business opportunities and a negative but insignificant impact on land use. Meanwhile, the product management of the whale shark tourism village has a positive and significant impact on descriptive business opportunities and land use.

Abstract

UKM Panre Besi merupakan salah satu industri tradisional yang bergerak dalam pembuatan parang dengan proses penempaan besi parang yang masih dilakukan secara manual yang berpotensi menimbulkan risiko keluhan pada pekerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi risiko kerja dan merancang alat penempa besi parang yang ergonomis menggunakan metode NBM, RULA, biomekanika, dan pendekatan Value Engineering. Berdasarkan NBM terdapat risiko kerja pada pekerja UKM Panre besi yaitu keluhan yang dirasakan oleh kelima pekerja yaitu pada bahu kiri, sakit pada bahu kanan, sakit pada punggung, sakit pada bokong, sakit pada pinggang, sakit pada lengan atas kiri yang memiliki skor 4 (sakit sekali). Hasil penilaian postur kerja pada kedua pekerja menggunakan metode RULA menunjukkan skor 7 (risiko tinggi), dimana bagian punggung, lengan atas, lengan bawah, dan pergelangan tangan yang menjadi perhatian. Berdasarkan pengolahan data biomekanika bahwa pekerja 1 memiliki nilai LI sebesar 1,96, pekerja 3 sebesar 3,33, pekerja 4  sebesar 3,35, dan pekerja 5 sebesar 3,14 keduanya melebihi batas aman LI ≤ 1[HR1.1]. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat risiko kerja tinggi dengan skor RULA 7 dan keluhan muskuloskeletal signifikan pada bagian punggung serta lengan pekerja. Sebagai solusi, perancangan alat penempa besi berbasis Value Engineering telah berhasil dikembangkan untuk memperbaiki postur kerja, meminimalkan risiko cedera, serta meningkatkan efektivitas dan keselamatan kerja.

Abstract

Khalifa Mushroom is one of the oyster mushroom cultivation places, the company is advised to start implementing the EOQ method consistently in the planning and inventory process of raw materials. This is important so that the amount of production processing and ordering time can be adjusted to actual needs and dynamic market conditions. Second, the company should utilize technology optimally to perform calculations and inventory control simulations to produce fast, accurate, and efficient decisions. This study to anticipate increased production volume, the company is advised to always apply the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method to evaluate existing warehouse capacity and consider expanding or rearranging storage space so that raw materials maintain their quality and are not damaged due to accumulation. Finally, the researcher suggests that further research can explore the use of other methods that are integrated with supply risks, price changes, or demand fluctuations to strengthen supply chain resilience and increase business competitiveness in the future
