Abstract

Waiting time in outpatient prescription services is a critical indicator directly influencing patient satisfaction. This study aims to analyze factors affecting waiting time and its relationship with patient satisfaction. The research employed a narrative literature review method, reviewing 16 national and international journal articles published between 2018 and 2023. Data were collected through searches in Google Scholar, PubMed, ScienceDirect, EBSCO, and SpringerLink databases using relevant keywords. Data analysis was conducted descriptively and thematically. Results indicate that internal factors such as the number and competence of human resources, workflow efficiency, and availability of infrastructure significantly affect waiting time. External factors include patient volume, patient characteristics, waiting room facilities, and institutional policies. A strong relationship between shorter waiting time and higher patient satisfaction was also identified. The conclusion recommends interventions such as staff augmentation, queue digitalization, and facility improvement to enhance service quality. Further research with qualitative and longitudinal approaches is suggested to deeply explore psychosocial aspects and technology innovation effectiveness.

Abstract

Mutu pelayanan rumah sakit merupakan salah satu indikator utama dalam menilai keberhasilan sistem pelayanan kesehatan. Clinical pathway telah banyak digunakan sebagai instrumen manajemen mutu untuk menstandarkan pelayanan klinis, meningkatkan efisiensi, serta mendukung keselamatan pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi clinical pathway dan dampaknya terhadap mutu pelayanan rumah sakit melalui pendekatan Literature Review. Penelitian dilakukan dengan penelusuran literatur pada basis data Google Scholar, PubMed, ScienceDirect, dan Garuda periode 2020-2025. Hasil seleksi literatur menghasilkan 25 artikel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Hasil sintesis menunjukkan bahwa implementasi clinical pathway berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan efektivitas pelayanan klinis, efisiensi penggunaan sumber daya, penurunan lama rawat inap, pengendalian biaya pelayanan, serta peningkatan keselamatan pasien. Namun, keberhasilan implementasi dipengaruhi oleh dukungan manajemen, keterlibatan tenaga kesehatan, ketersediaan sumber daya, dan sistem monitoring yang efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the educational snakes and ladders game in improving first-grade students' understanding of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) at MI Al-Munawwaroh Maor. The method used was a descriptive case study involving 15 first-grade students. The results showed a significant increase in student understanding, where before the intervention, 70% of students were in the low knowledge category, and after the intervention, 70% moved to the good knowledge category. Furthermore, students demonstrated enthusiasm, focus, and active participation during the learning process. In conclusion, the educational snakes and ladders game has proven effective in improving PHBS knowledge and can be used as a fun alternative method for health education in elementary schools.   Keywords: Knowledge, Educational Game, PHBS, Snakes and Ladders
