Abstract

The problem in this study is the low learning process and outcomes of students inmathematics in fourth grade at SDN 196/II Taman Agung. This study aims toimprove the learning process and outcomes of students in fourth grade at SDN196/II Taman Agung, Bathin III District.This type of research is classroom actionresearch, examining the situation and conditions of the teaching and learningprocess at school. This study was conducted with 18 students in the secondsemester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The study consisted of two cycles,each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data forthis study were collected using quantitative and qualitative data analysistechniques.The results of this study can be explained as follows: (1) Theapplication of the make-a-match learning model, as seen from the learningprocess and outcomes in cycle I, with an average of 49.44%, increased in cycle II,with an average of 86.66%. (2) The implementation of the make a match learningmodel is seen from the observation sheet, namely cycle I meeting I from theeducator aspect with a value range of 88.23% while cycle I meeting II with a valuerange of 94.11% and cycle II meetings I and II 100% and the student aspect ofcycle I meeting I with an average value of 68.94% while cycle I meeting II with avalue range of 74.16% and in cycle II there was an increase in the student aspectof cycle I meeting I reaching an average value of 80.55% while cycle II meeting IIreached an average of 92.15% with a very good category. It can be concluded thatthe implementation of the make a match learning model can improve the processand results of learning mathematics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari rendahnya proses dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPAS kelas V SDN 296/VI Rantau Panjang. Tujuan peneliti melakukan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan proses dan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model pembelejaran predict-observe-explain (POE), Sedangkan subjek dari penelitian ini Adalah semua siswa kelas V SDN 296/VI Rantau Panjang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Desain penelitian ini adalah perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini adalah berupa teknik analisis data observasi yaitu berupa lembar observasi pendidik dan lembar observasi peserta didik. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan bahwasanya penelitian ini telah berhasil dilaksanakan tetapi ada beberapa saran yang ingin peneliti sampaikan yaitu Diharapkan dengan adanya penelitian ini siswa dapat meningkatkan semangat belajar dengan lebih baik lagi agar penguasaan materinya lebih mudah dipahami dan hasil belajar yang sangat baik. Kepada kepala sekolah SDN 296/VI Rantau Panjang diharapkan agar tetap memperhatikan kinerja pendidik dan kondisi siswa dengan memberikan pengarahan, bimbingan, dan pengawasan terhadap peningkatan proses dan hasil pembelajaran khususnya pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Untuk mencapai kualitas pembelajaran yang baik dan maksimal yang diharapkan kepada pendidik leboh profesional, kreatif, dan trampil dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran.Untuk menghasilkan nilai kelulusan yang baik dan berkerakter, diharapkan kepada lembaga kependidikan agar dapat memberikan perhatian, motivasi dan bantuan yang berguna dalam proses pembelajara.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low interest and learning outcomes of Pancasila Education in grade IV at SDN 186/II Kuamang Jaya, this can be seen from the results of initial observations conducted by the researcher that during the learning process there were students who were sleepy because the learning was not interactive and participatory. This has an impact on student learning outcomes, namely only 12.5% ​​who obtained grades in the achievement criteria. The purpose of the study is to increase interest and learning outcomes of Pancasila Education using the scramble learning model.The research method used in this study is classroom action research, the subjects of this study were fourth grade students of SDN 186/II Kuamang Jaya. In the implementation of the research conducted by the researcher consisted of two cycles. Each cycle consisted of two meetings, each meeting consisting of four stages: planning, implementation/action, observation, and reflection. This research was conducted in the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic year at SDN 186/II Kuamang Jaya. The research data were collected through observation, tests, and documentation.The results of the study indicate that the use of the scramble learning model can increase interest and learning outcomes of Pancasila Education in class IV of SDN 186/II Kuamang Jaya. This can be seen from the increase in the results of educator observations in cycle I with an average percentage of 78.12% and in cycle II with an average percentage of 90.62% with the Very Good category. The increase in students' learning interest, in cycle I reached 72.88% in the sufficient category and in cycle II increased to 95.8% with the Very Good category. The increase in students' learning outcomes in cycle I reached 58.3% in the Very Poor category and cycle II reached 83.3% with the Good category.
