Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of accuracy between the ball and the hand, the lack of variations in the form of training, the lack of training methods and the lack of knowledge of the correct service. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the floating service training method on service accuracy for female volleyball players at SMP Negeri 5 Rantau Pandan. The method used in this study is the experimental population method in this study 64 students, the sample amounted to a sample of 12 students. The design used in this is One Group Pretest and Posttest. The data analysis technique in this study used a hypothesis test (t-test) with a significance level of 0.05%. The results obtained in the initial test an average of 15.8 points and the final test 22.8 points. While th (7.45) and tt (1.796). Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the floating service training method on service accuracy for female volleyball players at SMP Negeri 5 Rantau Pandan there is a significant increase.

Abstract

This research aims to see the effect of the cooperative learning model type Cooperative Integrated Reading and Competition which is then written with the abbreviation CIRC, and to see the effect of high appreciative reading habits and low on the student's skills of writing a short story at class XI SMA Negeri 1 Ampek Angkek Agam. This type of research is quantitative, The method used in this research is the experimental method. research From the results of the research conducted can be concluded four things as follows. First, the skill in writing short stories of students taught by using the CIRC-type cooperative learning model is better than the students taught using the conventional learning model. Second, the skill in writing short stories of students who have highly appreciative reading habits taught by using the CIRC type cooperative learning model is better than those taught by using the conventional learning model. Third, the skill in writing short stories of students who have low appreciative reading habits taught by using the CIRC type cooperative learning model is better than those taught by using the conventional learning model. Fourth, there is no interaction between appreciative reading habits and the CIRC cooperative learning model in influencing the student's skills in writing a short story.

Abstract

This research starts from the reality in the field, namely the scarcity of using approaches in learning and the lack of use of learning resources and tools. This is caused by learning that is still conventional so that students are less interested in participating in learning. For this reason, the authors are interested in improving the process of learning to scan reading in Indonesian language learning through the implementation of Classroom Action Research (CAR) using a Jigsaw II type cooperative learning approach. This Jigsaw II type cooperative learning approach is a learning approach that provides opportunities for students to think and discuss with friends to make themselves "experts" so that they can explain the material they discuss in expert groups to their friends in cooperative groups (origin), so that in learning students play an active role and the teacher acts as a facilitator. The purpose of this CAR is to describe the form of planning, form of implementation, and form of student learning assessment using the Jigsaw II type cooperative learning approach in learning to read and scan. This type of research is CAR (Classroom Action Research), research using quantitative and qualitative approaches. The subjects in this study were fifth grade students at SDN 08 Padang Besi, Padang City. The research data was obtained by using field notes, observations, and evaluations (tests). The results of each cycle carried out in this study showed an increase in students' reading and scanning skills from the evaluation of the first cycle of actions, the average percentage of students was 65%, while in the second cycle of action evaluation the average percentage was 78%. The results of the observations showed an increase in student activity in the learning process. So it can be concluded in this study that using a Jigsaw II type of cooperative learning approach can improve students' scanning reading skills.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to find out whether there are differences in underhand passing exercises with friends and underhand passing on the increase in underhand passing in volleyball games for Class VII students of SMP Negeri 24 Merangin. This research is an experimental research with Matched Subject Design. The sample in this study consisted of 20 female students and was divided into experimental group 1 and experimental group 2 using the AB-BA formula. Data analysis in this study used the t-test at a significance level of 5% db 5. Results 1) there is an effect of practicing lower passing alone, with the result of t-count 2.535 > t-table 2.306, 2) there is an effect of practicing lower passing with friends, with a result of t-count 4.482 > t-table 2.306, 3) Training of lower passing with friends are better than the bottom passing exercise alone with a mean post test result of 12.8 > 10.9. The conclusions of the results of this study are 1) There is an effect of lower passing exercises with friends. 2) There is the influence of self-passing exercises. 3) Underhand passing exercises with friends are better than self-passing exercises in improving lower passing abilities in extracurricular students at SMPN 24 Merangin. Abstract

Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation of action, observation and analysis, and reflection. Based on the results of the research, it was found that the learning process of students in cycle I was in the fairly good category, while in cycle II, it was in the good category. This means that there is an increase in the learning process of students in a better direction. Meanwhile, the average score before the pre-cycle was 50.52%, with a completeness level of 49.38%. Then, in cycle I, the average value was 62.62% with a completeness level of 41.38%, and in cycle II, the average value was 76.52% with a completeness level of 76.45%. The average value of the pre-cycle, cycle I, and II shows an increase in learning outcomes.

Abstract

The field trip learning method is a learning method that provides students with the opportunity to explore the surrounding environment as a source of learning. Students are required to be able to construct knowledge independently through the exploration process in order to achieve learning objectives, especially in terms of observation report writing skills. This study aims to see the effect of the field trip learning method on the observation report writing skills of grade VII junior high school students. The study used a quasi-experimental design. The study population was 151 students. Sampling was carried out by simple random sampling. Data collection used a performance test instrument. Data analysis and discussion were descriptive-analytical with the concept of experimental research. The results of the hypothesis test revealed that there was an effect of the field trip learning method on the learning outcomes of students' observation report writing skills than using conventional learning methods.

Abstract

The low ability of students in class I SDN 079/II Pusat Jalo, Bungo Regency, Jambi Province in reading the beginning is the background for the research, where there are 15 students in 1 class, where they still find it difficult to read the beginning. It aims to improve the ability to read the beginning as seen from the process and results of reading the beginning of class one students of SDN 079/II Pusat Jalo with Structural Analytical Synthetic as the method. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research, consisting of two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning activities, implementation of actions, observation, and reflection. the subjects of this study were class one, namely one teacher and 15 students at SDN 079/II Pusat Jalo. The results of this study show that teachers in the learning process, cycle one first meeting 69%, cycle one second meeting increased to 75%. Furthermore, cycle two first meetings, and the second teacher process increased again to 100%. The student process during the learning process in cycle one first meeting 68%, cycle one second meeting increased to 74% said not to have been achieved. In the second cycle, the first meeting increased to 79%, in the second cycle, the second meeting increased again to 82% and it was said to have been achieved. The results of the observation of the assessment of the initial reading test of students in cycle one that was achieved were only 9 students or 60%, who were achieved. In the second cycle, 13 students or 91% were achieved and declared successful.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar matematika peserta didik kelas III di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 004/II Jaya Setia, dimana sebagian besar peserta didik belum mencapai standar nilai “Baik” sebagaimana tercantum dalam Kriteria Ketuntasan Tujuan Pembelajaran (KKTP). Kondisi ini diduga disebabkan oleh pendekatan pembelajaran yang masih bersifat konvensional, kurang variatif, serta belum melibatkan peserta didik secara aktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses dan hasil belajar matematika melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL). Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 20 peserta didik kelas III, terdiri atas 14 laki-laki dan 6 perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi aktivitas guru dan peserta didik, tes hasil belajar, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model PjBL mampu meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya partisipasi dan keterlibatan aktif peserta didik selama pembelajaran berlangsung. Selain itu, hasil belajar peserta didik juga mengalami peningkatan, dari 55% peserta didik yang mencapai nilai KKTP pada siklus I menjadi 85% pada siklus II. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran PjBL efektif dalam meningkatkan proses dan hasil belajar matematika. Model ini direkomendasikan sebagai salah satu alternatif pembelajaran matematika di kelas III Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

General background: Quality science learning in elementary schools often declines when dominated by teacher-centered methods, limiting students’ critical and collaborative engagement. Specific background: At SDN 178/II Purwasari, sixth-grade IPAS lessons showed low achievement, with only 43.4% of students meeting the minimum criteria. Knowledge gap: While cooperative models such as Numbered Head Together (NHT) have been widely studied, few have examined their effectiveness in IPAS within the Kurikulum Merdeka context, which emphasizes inquiry and 21st-century competencies. Aim: This study investigates the implementation of the NHT model to enhance learning processes and outcomes in grade VI IPAS. Results: Using a classroom action research design over two cycles with 23 students, findings revealed improvements in teacher performance (81.2% to 100%), student engagement (65.7% to 83.6%), and learning mastery (43.4% pre-cycle; 73.9% cycle I; 82.6% cycle II). Novelty: Unlike prior studies on single-subject applications, this work demonstrates the integration of NHT in IPAS as an interdisciplinary subject aligned with Kurikulum Merdeka. Implications: The study highlights NHT’s potential to foster critical thinking, collaboration, and responsibility, offering a practical pedagogical strategy to support national curriculum reforms and improve elementary science education.
