Abstract

This research is an effort to implement programs directly related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the village level through the Independent Work Study Program (KKM) involving students. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with interviews and observations as data collection techniques. This research was conducted in Iloheluma village, Boliyohuto sub-district, Gorontalo district. The results of this study show that the implementation of SDGs in this village includes quality education, decent work and economic growth, digitization of MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises), and anti-bullying campaigns. Collaboration between KKM students, the village government, the local community, and schools is important in the application of knowledge and is the key to success in achieving sustainable goals at the local level.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of implementing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) learning at the preschool level through the “Action of Yeast” and “Electrical Putty” experiments. Pretest and posttest results show a significant increase in children's understanding of the concepts of anaerobic respiration and electrical conductivity. Through an interactive approach, children were actively involved in scientific exploration, which fostered curiosity, courage to experiment, and critical thinking skills. This activity also strengthened social and collaborative skills, where children learned to work together in small groups, appreciate their friends' ideas, and take responsibility for completing experiments. In addition, this practical experience provided an opportunity for KKM-I student participants to apply educational theory in the field, strengthening their pedagogical abilities and understanding the importance of innovation in science learning. This research confirms that the application of STEM-based learning at the preschool level is a strategic step in building a strong foundation for a young generation that is adaptive, creative, and innovative. Thus, this activity not only improves children's scientific understanding but also prepares them to face the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era and encourages their interest in science and technology.

Abstract

Health is one of the important factors in efforts to develop Human Resources (HR), including education. Therefore, it becomes natural for health insurance. Healthy living behavior is one of the important efforts made in creating healthy environmental conditions, especially elementary school children who are still in the growth and development stage. Toothbrush is one of the most effective oral physiotherapy tools. It is widely used for cleaning teeth and mouth. The method used in providing assistance to the community in Salepae Village is the method of lectures, discussions and practices accompanied by games so that the community participating in the community service activities that are held do not feel bored when studying theory. The results of the implementation of community service activities that have been carried out for two months from identifying problems to studying theories have had a positive impact on the community, this can be seen by changing the mindset of the community, and increasing public awareness about the benefits of mosque financial priorities.
