Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi konsep pembelajaran mendalam di SMP Negeri 5 Satu Atap Tolonuo berdasarkan persepsi dan pengalaman langsung para guru. Metode yang digunakan adalah wawancara kualitatif terhadap enam orang guru dari berbagai mata pelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru-guru telah memahami esensi pembelajaran mendalam sebagai pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa, menekankan pemahaman konseptual, berpikir kritis, dan penerapan dalam konteks kehidupan nyata. Implementasinya dilakukan melalui perancangan RPP yang kontekstual, penggunaan metode diskusi dan problem-based learning, serta penilaian otentik seperti proyek dan portofolio. Kendala utama yang dihadapi meliputi fasilitas yang terbatas, keragaman kemampuan siswa, dan keterbatasan waktu. Faktor pendukung utamanya adalah dukungan kepala sekolah dan kolaborasi antar rekan sejawat. Perubahan positif teramati pada siswa, seperti peningkatan keaktifan, keberanian berpendapat, dan keterampilan kolaborasi. Untuk optimalisasi, diperlukan peningkatan pelatihan guru dan penambahan fasilitas pendukung. Kata Kunci; Implementasi, Pembelajaran Mendalam, SMP Negeri 5 Satu Atap Tolonuo.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the local wisdom values ​​of Makayaklo culture in the Makian community and examine its implementation as a pillar of school management at MTs Swasta Muhammadiyah Matsa, South Halmahera Regency, North Maluku. Makayaklo is a kinship-based mutual cooperation philosophy that emphasizes collective cooperation, moral responsibility, and deliberation. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, this study collected data through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The results show that Makayaklo values ​​are internalized in four pillars of school management: participatory planning (weekly deliberation), solidarity-based organizing, program implementation through collective community service, and social trust-based supervision. In conclusion, Makayaklo culture has proven effective as a social glue as well as a management strategy that is adaptive to the local context.    Keywords: Makayaklo Culture, Makian Tribe, School Management.

Abstract

The use of medicinal plants represents an important component of local wisdom that continues to be practiced by communities across Indonesia, including the Moya community living in the Gunung Gamalama area, Ternate City. This study aimed to examine the relationship between community knowledge levels and the utilization of medicinal plants, as well as to document the diversity of medicinal plant species used by the Moya community. A quantitative approach with a correlational survey design was employed. Data were collected through structured interviews and questionnaires administered to 25 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Descriptive and inferential statistical analyses were performed using Pearson’s Product-Moment correlation and simple linear regression. The results revealed that the mean knowledge score of respondents was 75.84 ± 11.48, while the mean medicinal plant utilization score was 78.28 ± 11.47. Pearson correlation analysis demonstrated a very strong and significant positive relationship between community knowledge and medicinal plant utilization (r = 0.999; p < 0.05). Regression analysis indicated that community knowledge accounted for 99.74% of the variation in medicinal plant utilization. Ethnobotanical inventory documented 25 medicinal plant species belonging to 17 plant families, with leaves being the most frequently utilized plant part. These medicinal plants were commonly used to treat various health conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, malaria, digestive disorders, skin diseases, and coughs. The findings highlight the pivotal role of community knowledge in sustaining the utilization of medicinal plants while simultaneously supporting the preservation of local wisdom and biodiversity in the Gunung Gamalama region.

Abstract

From the results of observations that researchers carried out on March 10 2026 it was found that 52% of students came from the number of class VIII students, namely 23 students did not work on assignments in the Integrated Social Sciences subject. This study aims to find out and analyze the efforts of social studies subject teachers in instilling the character of discipline and student responsibility through integrated social studies learning in class VIII Salafiyah Alkhairat Sasa. This research uses qualitative research methods. The analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analysis technique. the results of the study found that social studies teaching efforts in instilling the character of discipline and responsibility, namely throughprinsip Contextual teaching and learning (CTL) in which the teacher relates the material he is studying using students' concrete global situations. Some of the obstacles in cultivating the character of discipline and responsibility include a) family factors, b) environmental factors, c) bold learning, d) factors originating from the students themselves. Meanwhile, the solution to obstacles in cultivating the character of discipline and responsibility is through, a) Control by the head of the Islamic Boarding School, b) the active role of the teacher.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the concept of deep learning at SMP Negeri 5 Satu Atap Tolonuo based on the perceptions and direct experiences of teachers. The method used was qualitative interviews with six teachers from various subjects. The results of the study show that teachers have understood the essence of deep learning as student-centered learning, emphasizing conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and application in real-life contexts. The implementation was carried out through the design of contextual lesson plans, the use of discussion and problem-based learning methods, and authentic assessments such as projects and portfolios. The main obstacles encountered include limited facilities, diversity in student abilities, and time constraints. The main supporting factors are the support of the principal and collaboration among colleagues. Positive changes were observed in students, such as increased activity, courage to express opinions, and collaboration skills. For optimization, it is necessary to improve teacher training and add supporting facilities.
