Abstract

Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia, including the Nazhatut Thullab Prajjan Camplong Madura Foundation, face the challenge of digital adaptation in the era of disruption. External communication management still relies on conventional methods, hampering efficiency and transparency. The main problems include limited communication channels with students' guardians, low digital literacy among administrators, scattered data, and the suboptimal use of websites as a medium for socialization and da'wah. To address these issues, this activity proposes the development and implementation of an integrated website with a focus on the message blast feature for mass and rapid communication. The community service was implemented in five stages: a preliminary survey and needs analysis through interviews and direct observation; the design and development of a user-friendly integrated website with attention to data security; planning and preparation of a training program, including the creation of pre- and post-tests to measure knowledge; implementation of training and mentoring on July 19-20, 2025, for 16 Islamic boarding school administrators using presentations, lectures, practice, and discussions; and ongoing monitoring and evaluation. The results of the activity showed significant improvements in administrative efficiency and transparency through a functional website system. Posttest results were consistently significantly higher than pretest results, indicating increased human resource capacity in utilizing information technology. Participants demonstrated optimal technology adoption and were able to operate the website independently.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the accuracy of stock price prediction through the application of Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) and Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU) methods, focusing on stocks from the Composite Stock Price Index (CSPI) referred to as the IDX Composite. The research process includes comprehensive steps, including data collection and preprocessing, dataset creation with emphasis on stock closing prices, and division of the dataset into training and test data. The LSTM and GRU models were designed with a recurrent layer and a Dense layer and then trained for 100 epochs with a batch size of 32. Model evaluation was performed by comparing key metrics such as Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE), Mean Squared Error (MSE), and Mean Absolute Error (MAE) on the test set. The EPOCH-RMSE graph provides an overview of the changes in the RMSE value during training. The best result of the LSTM model was achieved at the 96th epoch with RMSE 40.36, MSE 1385.97, and MAE 30.09, while GRU achieved peak performance at the 92nd epoch with RMSE 37.33, MSE 908.29, and MAE 25.42. In conclusion, GRU can be considered as a more effective option in predicting JCI stock prices based on performance evaluation using various metrics such as RMSE, MSE, and MAE.

Abstract

The development of information technology drives the need for a flexible, efficient, and easy-to-use Point of Sale (POS) system to support retail business operations. This study aims to design and develop a mobile-based POS application using Agile methods to improve the effectiveness of transaction management and sales data. The research methods include problem identification, needs analysis, system design, application development, testing, and iterative system evaluation. The system design was carried out using use case diagrams and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), while the implementation was developed on a mobile platform with key features including user authentication, product management, sales transactions, stock management, reports, and owner and cashier access rights settings. Quantitative evaluation using Black-Box testing validated a 100% functional success rate across all core modules, ensuring operational stability. Test results show that the application is able to function optimally, responsively, and stably in supporting real-time business processes. The simple and intuitive user interface facilitates system operation, while the Agile approach allows for continuous feature adjustments. Performance metrics also indicated a 40% reduction in average transaction processing time. Thus, the developed application is considered effective in improving the efficiency, accuracy, and quality of mobile-based retail transaction management
