Abstract

The age period of 0-8 years is the most important moment for every human being to develop all the developmental features supported by parents at home and teachers / tutors at the Early Childhood Education Institute (ECE). In parenting, six main aspects must be known and applied by each parent. Lack of education, nutritional knowledge, care and care, and aspects of clean-living habits in the family can have an impact on children's growth and development processes. This study aims to develop a module 6 aspects of child development for parental guidance. This study uses a research and development approach to test the effectiveness of the posttest design. Respondents in this study are parents who have children up to 5 years and early childhood educators. The findings show that from these six main aspects, it seems that parents and ECE tutors do not yet understand the ECE concept. In another perspective, there is still a lack of knowledge about these 6 main aspects which require training and parenting modules to develop the 6 aspects of child development. Abstract

Stunting also occurs in urban areas, i.e., DKI Jakarta. East Jakarta is the second-highest (25.7%) location where stunting occurred. Since this activity was conducted in Duren Sawit Subdistrict, where numerous people still received Healthy Jakarta Cards, special efforts were needed to reduce the high stunting rate. The method used is qualitative descriptive. The form of training is the participant observation method and demonstration, include cooking demonstrations and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). This efforts made to decrease the number of Stunting in Duren Sawit Subdistrict. The training was given to 35 ECE tutors and parents of students from various ECE in Duren Sawit Subdistrict. Tutors and parents seemed enthusiastic and active during the activities, especially when they were given the task to create a one-week healthy menu in groups and then closed with a demo of making a cake with purple sweet potato as ingredients.

Abstract

Abstract The problem that arises in Cibitung Tengah Village is the lack of educators working in this village. Most of these educators were not coming from early childhood education background. The limited access to the information had caused ECE teachers and tutors to not understand the 2013 ECE curriculum. Limited knowledge about the 2013 ECE curriculum had an impact on the lack of knowledge of teachers and tutors in making learning devices. Learning devices consist of RPPH, media, evaluation and learning assessment and must be made by the educators before conducting and starting learning activities. Learning devices were an important component in organizing learning activities. This aimed to improve the quality of education which is the goal of this nation. The solution was training and awareness and dissemination of THE 2013 ECE curriculum. In addition, improving the quality of ECE teachers and tutors in making learning devices can be improved. The target to be achieved through the Community Service Activities was an increase in the knowledge of ECE teachers and tutors regarding the 2013 ECE curriculum and also how to make the right learning devices for early childhood learning activities.

Abstract

Abstract - The presence of Early Childhood Education (ECE) tutor in Cibitung Tengah Village Tenjolaya District Bogor Regency is really needed for early childhood in order to become a guide in the ECE institutions. The problem occurred is that the average education level of ECE tutor is diverse, from Middle School, High School, Associate Degree, and Bachelor Degree. In this condition, we can say that those ECE tutors had not had the knowledge and insight about the ECE, namely the 2013 Curriculum, the ECE concept, and the learning devices. Training, along with the research about the role of those training itself, are need to be done in order to answer this question for increasing the knowledge and insight of ECE tutor using action research method. The results showed the enhancement of conducted training, including the enhancement of interest and motivation to develop their knowledge and insight about the ECE. Extended with the existence of WhatsApp group as a platform for communication between ECE tutors and UNJ researchers in the efforts to enhance the professionalism of ECE tutors, in the context of mentoring, ECE Tutors in the Cibitung Tengah, Tenjolaya Village were also involved in the learning devices production training in order to apply the religious moral concept to the ECE in the teaching and learning process at the UNJ and also to observe Ceria Daycare of the Department of ECE, Faculty of Education, UNJ.Keyword - Early Childhood Education (ECE), 2013 Curriculum, Learning Devices

Abstract

Abstract

Lola snails (Rochia nilotica L.) are economical marine biota that can be found in tropical coral reef areas spread across the Indo-Pacific region including Indonesia. However, over the past few decades it has been overexploited. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the growth patterns and condition factors of lola snails in Bengkulu and West Nusa Tenggara waters. Data were collected in July-August 2024 in Enggano Island, Bengkulu and Pasaran Island and Kaung Island, West Nusa Tenggara using purpossive sampling method. The total number of lola snails obtained was 103 individuals with a diameter of 63.85-113.9 mm; height 67.7-113.22 mm' and weight 102-496 g. The length-weight relationship in Enggano Island, Bengkulu with a value of W = 0.000147L3.1947, Pasaran Island, NTB is W = 0.10649L 2.2378, and Kaung Island (NTB) with a value of W = 0.002221L2.6166.  The results of this study indicate that the growth pattern of lola snails on Enggano Island is a positive allometric model which means that weight growth is faster than height growth. While the growth pattern of lola snails on Pasaran Island and Kaung Island is a negative allometric model which means that height growth is faster than weight growth. The condition factor is 1.0048-1.0130, indicating that the Bengkulu and West Nusa Tenggara regions are still a suitable environment for the growth of lola snail.
