Abstract

Fisika, sebagai salah satu mata pelajaran dalam rumpun sains, termasuk pelajaran yang agak sulit untuk dipahami oleh siswa. Perlu ada upaya untuk mengatasi kesulitan ini, antara lain dengan memanfaatkan media video. Apakah media video ini dibutuhkan oleh siswa? Tampaknya perlu dilakukan analisis kebutuhan untuk hal ini. Analisis kebutuhan ini dilakukan untuk memotret dan mendapatkan informasi tentang kebutuhan pengembangan media video pembelajaran mata pelajaran Fisika jenjang SMA. Informasi kebutuhan ini antara lain meliputi kebijakan inovasi pembelajaran berbasis TIK di sekolah, pemanfaatan media pembelajaran oleh guru ataupun siswa, data kesulitan belajar siswa, topik/materi apa saja yang menjadi kesulitan belajar siswa, pemanfaatan media video pembelajaran oleh guru ataupun siswa, pemanfaatan media video pembelajaran dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa, dan kesesuaian media video dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan secara daring pada bulan April 2020. Responden penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa jenjang SMA. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah melalui kuesioner, wawancara, dan studi literatur/dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran dapat ditingkatkan dengan mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan media pembelajaran. Agar pemanfaatan media pembelajaran ini efektif, perlu dipertimbangkan minat siswa, karakteristik media pembelajaran, dan data kesulitan belajar siswa yang banyak berhubungan dengan mata pelajaran Matematika dan Fisika.  Untuk itu, media pembelajaran yang direkomendasikan untuk dikembangkan adalah media video pembelajaran untuk mata pelajaran Fisika.Physics, one of the subjects in science clump, is considered to be a subject that is difficult to understand by the students. There needs to be some efforts to overcome this difficulty, such as by utilizing video media. Is this video media needed by the students? Need analysis for this seems to be necessary. This need analysis is carried out to describe and get information about the need for instructional video development on Physics of Senior High School level. The information is about ICT-based learning innovation policies at school, media utilization by teachers and students, students’ learning difficulties, difficult topics for the students to learn, instructional video usage by the teachers and students, instructional video usage to overcome students’ learning difficulties, and the inlineness of the instructional video in overcoming the students’ learning difficulties. The research is carried out online in April 2020. The respondents in this research include principals, teachers, and students in Senior High School level. The data is procured through questionnaire, interview, and literary review. The research result shows that the learning process can be enhanced by optimizing the usage of instructional media. To make the usage of instructional media effective, it is necessary to consider the students’ interest, instructional media charactersitics, and students’ learning difficulties which are related to Physics and Mathematics. Therefore, the recommended instructional media to develop is instructional video on Physics.

Abstract

Salah satu tantangan bagi dunia pendidikan saat ini  adalah bagaimana mengembangkan pendidikan karakter bagi  siswa selama masa new normal. Kemendikbudristek menetapkan  6 indikator dari Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Guna mempermudah  internalisasi Profil Pelajar Pancasila dalam pembelajaran baik oleh  guru maupun siswa, dikembangkan Platform Merdeka Mengajar  (PMM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan  pemanfaatan Platform Merdeka Mengajar dalam menginternalisasi  nilai-nilai Pancasila. Sampel penelitian adalah guru-guru sekolah  penggerak dan SMK Pusat Keunggulan yang telah mengikuti bimtek  PMM tahun 2021. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner,  observasi dan wawancara terbatas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  bahwa: 1)Profil Pelajar Pancasila pada hakikatnya merupakan salah  satu upaya internalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam pembelajaran,  2) PMM memiliki peran signifikan dalam penerapan Profil Pelajar  Pancasila pada pembelajaran paradigma baru, dan 3) Internalisasi  nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam penerapan Profil Pelajar Pancasila di  masa new Normal berbantuan Platform Merdeka Mengajar dengan  cara diterapkan dalam karakter keseharian yang dibangun dan  dihidupkan dalam diri individu setiap pelajar melalui budaya sekolah,  pembelajaran intrakurikuler, kokurikuler, maupun ekstrakurikuler di  sekolah. Peningkatan pemanfaatan Platform Merdeka Mengajar  dalam menginternalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila melalui Profil Pelajar  Pancasila, perlu didukung dengan upaya peningkatkan kualitas dan  kuantitas konten Profil Pelajar Pancasila serta dukungan kebijakan  dalam pemanfaatan PMM dan sinergi kolaborasi antara sekolah,  pemerintah, masyarakat serta pemangku kepentingan. PMM dapat  menjadi salah satu solusi dalam penguatan pembelajaran karakter  melalui internalisasi nilai Pancasila bagi siswa generasi milenial,  terutama pada saat pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas di masa new normal pandemi Covid-19. One of the challenges in education today is student  character education during the new normal era. The Ministry of  Education, Culture, Research, and Technology sets 6 indicators of  the Pancasila Student Profile. To enhance the internalization of the  Pancasila Student Profile in learning by both teachers and students,  the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (MMP) is developed. The objective  of this research is to know the implementation of MMP in internalizing  the values of Pancasila. The sample is teachers of driving schools  and Center of Excellence Vocational Schools who have participated  in the PMM technical guidance in 2021. Data collection is through  questionnaires, observation, and limited interviews. The result  show that: 1) Pancasila Student Profile is essentially an effort to  internalize Pancasila values in learning; 2) MMP has significant  roles in the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile in the  new learning paradigm; and 3) The internalization of Pancasila  values in the implementation of Pancasila Student Profile in the  new normal era with MMP is applied in daily characteristics that are  developed and enhanced in every student through school culture,  intra-curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular learning at school  by applying it to the daily character that is built and brought to life in  each student through school culture, intra-curricular, co-curricular,  and extra-curricular learning at school. The improvement of MMP  implementation in internalizing Pancasila values through Pancasila  Student Profile should be supported by increasing the quality as well  as quantity of Pancasila Student Profile contents, by policies in MMP  implementation, and collaboration between schools, government,  and other stakeholders. MMP can be one of the solutions to enhance  character education through the internalization of Pancasila values  for millennial students, especially during the limited face-to-face  learning in a new normal era of pandemic covid-19

Abstract

The Merdeka Mengajar Platform was developed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) to support teachers in accessing references, inspiration, and pedagogical understanding necessary for the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. Since its introduction, the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM) has been disseminated and utilized by educators as part of the national effort to strengthen curriculum implementation. However, according to the utilization dashboard, a considerable proportion of educational institutions—approximately 44.25% of a total of 430,000 institutions—remain categorized as “PMM usage needs improvement” (based on data from data.kemdikbud.go.id, accessed on August 2, 2024). To capture users’ responses and identify challenges encountered during the use of the platform, an evaluation was conducted employing the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework. The study was carried out across 38 provinces and involved teacher respondents from various educational levels, including early childhood education (PAUD), kindergarten (TK), elementary (SD), junior high (SMP), senior high (SMA), and vocational schools (SMK), during the period of June–July 2024. The findings indicate that PMM is generally perceived as easy to use, with only a small number of users experiencing technical or operational barriers, largely due to the availability of adequate infrastructure and facilities. The platform is also considered beneficial in supporting teachers’ professional tasks. Nonetheless, several challenges were identified, including limited time for engagement, unstable internet connections, login difficulties, and partial understanding of certain features, although the proportion of affected users remains relatively small. Based on these findings, several recommendations are proposed to enhance PMM utilization, including the development of additional content tailored to teachers’ needs and the integration of a comment or feedback feature to facilitate direct user input for continuous platform improvement.
