Abstract

This study aims to examine and describe a multidisciplinary framework for Islamic Religious Education through the integration of psychological, political, and legal approaches. The psychological approach focuses on students' motivation, development, and personality as a basis for strengthening the process of internalizing values. The political approach examines the influence of educational policies, state ideology, and the dynamics of pluralism in directing the orientation of Islamic Religious Education learning. Meanwhile, the legal approach is analyzed to understand the normative and regulatory foundations that support the implementation of Islamic Religious Education in Indonesia. This study uses library research. Data were collected through a literature search of journals and books. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that the integration of these three approaches produces a more comprehensive, adaptive, and contextual framework for Islamic Religious Education. The psychological approach provides effectiveness in character-based learning, the political approach strengthens the relevance of Islamic Religious Education in the national education system, and the legal approach ensures the legitimacy and direction of religious value development. Overall, multidisciplinary Islamic Religious Education is able to shape religious students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic education as a social instrument in breaking the cycle of poverty in society and to identify the Islamic values that are internalized through Islamic education and contribute to the development of a work ethic, self-reliance, and social solidarity among the poor, as well as to analyze the most effective conceptual model for integrating Islamic educational values with socio-economic strategies to break the cycle of poverty sustainably. The approach used is qualitative library-based research, examining various academic and empirical literature. The research findings indicate that Islamic educational institutions play a role in strengthening social awareness and fostering robust spirituality as a bridge to breaking the cycle of poverty. Islamic values such as hard work, self-reliance, and sosial solidarity are internalized through Islamic education to cultivate religious and productive individuals. An effective conceptual model in Islamic education emphasizes value-based transformative education, socio-economic empowerment, and sustainable multisectoral collaboration; an Islamic spiritual-economic approach; a contextual and participatory multisectoral collaboration framework; and the integration of a values-based curriculum with practical social experiences.

The focus of the study is directed at aspects of educational institutional development, educational programs, integration of religious knowledge and general knowledge, and educational management. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive qualitative research type. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis is based on three steps: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, while data validity is through member check, cross check, and method triangulation techniques. The results of the study indicate that Muhammadiyah plays a significant role in the development of progressive Islamic education at the Al-Ikhlas Tolobali Islamic Boarding School in Bima City through strengthening tiered educational institutions, developing superior programs such as Tahfidzul Qur'an and santri entrepreneurship, integrating religious knowledge and general knowledge in the curriculum, and implementing more modern and transparent educational management. The challenges faced are limited human resources, low utilization of learning technology, and limited supporting facilities and infrastructure. These findings emphasize the need for strategies to strengthen human resources, technology-based learning innovations, and support facilities to optimally realize progressive Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the nature of Science, Technology, and the Arts from an Islamic perspective through ontological, epistemological, and axiological approaches. It seeks to identify the concept of integration between revelation, reason, and empirical experience in establishing a paradigm for Science, Technology, and the Arts in Islam, and to analyze the role of the values of tawhid in guiding the development and utilization of Science, Technology, and the Arts so that they remain oriented toward the welfare of humanity. This study employs a library research method with a descriptive qualitative approach, through an analysis of various relevant literature. The results of the study indicate that, ontologically, Islam views reality as a unity of the material and spiritual grounded in Tawhid. Epistemologically, the sources of knowledge revelation, reason, and empirical experience are integrative and mutually complementary. Axiologically, science and technology are directed toward human welfare and a balanced life based on ethical and spiritual values. The concept of integrating revelation, reason, and empirical experience grounded in tawhid serves as the foundation of Islamic epistemology in constructing a holistic, balanced paradigm of science and technology oriented toward human welfare, both materially and spiritually. The role of tawhid as both the foundation and ethical safeguard in the development of science and technology ensures that knowledge remains rooted in divine values and directed toward the welfare and justice of all humanity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concepts, principles, and implementation of the integration of digital literacy and religious literacy in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning materials. The method used was library research. Research data were obtained by reviewing various relevant literature sources, such as books and scientific journal articles discussing digital literacy, religious literacy, and Islamic Religious Education. The collected data were then analyzed using content analysis to identify the concepts, principles, and forms of implementation of the integration of digital literacy and religious literacy in PAI materials. The results of the study indicate that the integration of digital literacy and religious literacy in PAI materials combines digital competencies with an understanding of Islamic values so that students are able to critically understand Islamic teachings, respond wisely to religious information in digital media, and apply it responsibly. This integration is implemented through the use of digital technology, the reinforcement of digital ethics based on Islamic values, the development of skills in analyzing religious information, and the active role of teachers as learning facilitators.
