Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of e-commerce platforms among the community in Lalonggombu Village, Lainea District, Konawe Selatan Regency. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method to explore the phenomenon of e-commerce usage in everyday life. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving community members who use e-commerce platforms. The results indicate that the use of e-commerce platforms in Lalonggombu Village has increased along with the development of digital technology. The community utilizes e commerce due to its ease of access, time efficiency, and the availability of various promotional features such as discounts, cashback, and free shipping. The use of e-commerce is characterized by high frequency of access, relatively long usage duration, and increasing transaction intensity.  However, the convenience of e-commerce usage also reflects a shift in consumption patterns from need-based consumption to desire-oriented consumption. This is indicated by unplanned purchases and intensive use of promotional features that encourage higher consumption activities.  In conclusion, the use of e-commerce platforms has become an integral part of the community’s daily life in Lalonggombu Village and has the potential to influence consumption patterns. Therefore, awareness is needed to ensure that e-commerce is used wisely and consumption remains rational and based on actual needs.

This study aims to analyze the consumptive behavior of the community in Lalonggombu Village, Lainea District, Konawe Selatan Regency from an Islamic economic perspective. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method to explore in depth the phenomenon of consumptive behavior within the community. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving village residents as informants. Factors influencing this behavior include ease of access to goods, social environmental influences, and the presence of attractive promotional offers. From an Islamic economic perspective, such consumptive behavior is not fully in line with Islamic consumption principles, which emphasize moderation, avoidance of extravagance (israf), and prioritization of needs over desires. In conclusion, the consumptive behavior of the community in Lalonggombu Village reflects a deviation from Islamic economic principles in managing consumption. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of stagnation in secondary-higher education on economic development and human capital in Southeast Sulawesi and to examine its implications for regional financial policies. Using a systematic literature review approach based on BPS data, empirical journals, and the latest education policies, this research finds that stagnation in access and quality of secondary-higher education is reflected in low school participation rates, decreasing average years of schooling, and significant regional and social group disparities. Structural barriers such as poverty, limited educational infrastructure, disparities in teacher distribution, and the effectiveness of educational aid policies are the main causes. Consequently, the workforce structure is dominated by lower secondary graduates, educated unemployment and informal workers remain high, and the demographic bonus has not been optimally utilized for regional economic transformation. The findings of this research indicate that regional fiscal policies—particularly the allocation of education budgets and the effectiveness of assistance programs—still need to be significantly improved, especially for secondary-higher education and underdeveloped areas. The reformulation of budget management strategies, improvement of education aid governance, and cross-sector collaboration are the main recommendations to ensure that education investments truly impact the enhancement of human capital quality and inclusive economic growth. This research also highlights the importance of data-driven policy innovation and strengthening the monitoring of educational programs to accelerate the sustainable transformation of human development in Southeast Sulawesi.

Abstract

The expansion of modern retail is often feared to affect the performance of micro-businesses, particularly threatening the income and business sustainability at the local level. This study aims to analyze micro-business income in the face of modern retail competition, taking a case study at Toko Cahaya Bone in Lamonae Village, Wiwirano District, North Konawe Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive analysis methods. The data used is secondary data in the form of gross circulation (gross income) reports of Toko Cahaya Bone during the period of 2022 to 2024. The results showed that the business's gross circulation experienced a consistent increase. The total gross circulation was recorded at Rp2,250,000,000 in 2022, increased to Rp2,385,000,000 in 2023, and rose again to reach Rp2,650,000,000 in 2024. Abstract

This study examines the effect of murabahah, mudharabah, and musyarakah financing on the profitability of Islamic commercial banks registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) during the 2021–2023 period. Previous studies have reported inconsistent findings regarding the relationship between Islamic financing contracts and bank profitability, particularly in the context of participatory financing schemes in Islamic banking institutions. This study contributes to the literature by providing empirical evidence on the comparative influence of major Islamic financing contracts on profitability using quarterly multi-bank data from Indonesia. The study employs a quantitative approach using purposive sampling, resulting in three Islamic commercial banks as research samples: PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia, PT Bank Victoria Syariah, and PT BCA Syariah. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The findings reveal that murabahah financing has a negative and significant effect on profitability, mudharabah financing has a positive but insignificant effect, while musyarakah financing has a positive and significant effect on profitability. Simultaneously, murabahah, mudharabah, and musyarakah financing collectively have a significant influence on the profitability of Islamic commercial banks. These findings indicate that financing portfolio composition plays an important role in shaping the financial performance of Islamic banking institutions and highlights the importance of balancing fixed-margin and profit-sharing financing schemes to achieve sustainable profitability.
