Abstract

Numeracy and financial literacy are widely recognized as essential competencies for students in the twenty-first century, particularly in navigating real-life decision-making contexts. However, empirical evidence consistently indicates that middle school students struggle to apply ratio concepts meaningfully in financial situations. This study aims to conduct an in-depth needs analysis as a foundational step toward the future development of an innovative learning medium that integrates numeracy, financial literacy, digital tools, and intelligent technologies. Using a descriptive qualitative-dominant approach, data were collected through curriculum analysis, classroom observations, teacher interviews, student questionnaires, diagnostic tests, and document analysis. The findings reveal significant gaps between curricular expectations and classroom practices, including the dominance of procedural instruction, limited financial context integration, insufficient use of digital learning tools, and the absence of adaptive or reflective feedback mechanisms. Furthermore, the results indicate that students possess fragmented understanding of ratios and demonstrate low confidence in making financial decisions based on numerical reasoning. These findings highlight the urgent need for a learning medium that supports contextualized reasoning, computational exploration, and reflective guidance. The research contribution of this study lies in providing a rigorous empirical foundation that informs the design requirements of future technology-enhanced learning innovations aimed at strengthening the integration of numeracy and financial literacy in mathematics education.

Abstract

Identifying students’ learning pace is a central task for teachers in inclusive mathematics classrooms, yet such identification is often based on observable performance indicators such as task completion speed and correctness of answers. This study investigates the extent to which teachers’ judgments of students’ learning pace align with students’ number sense profiles, and examines which aspects of number sense remain invisible without information support. Using a descriptive–comparative design situated in the analysis phase of design research, the study involved an inclusive lower secondary mathematics classroom. Teachers classified students as slow, moderate, or fast learners based on regular classroom observations, while students completed a validated number sense assessment focusing on estimation, numerical magnitude understanding, strategy flexibility, and evaluation of reasonableness. The results reveal partial alignment between teachers’ judgments and students’ number sense, with systematic misalignments among students categorized as fast and slow learners. Some fast learners demonstrated procedural fluency without adequate evaluation of reasonableness, while some slow learners exhibited emerging number sense that was not reflected in teachers’ judgments. The findings highlight the need for information support to make latent cognitive indicators visible and support more equitable learning pace identification. By reframing learning pace as a cognitively informed construct rather than a purely performance-based label, this study contributes empirical grounding for the design of information-supported systems that augment teacher judgment and promote inclusive assessment practices in mathematics education.

Abstract

Informasi adalah data yang telah diolah dengan cara tertentu dan memiliki nilai yang relevan secara kontekstual untuk digunakan dalam pengambilan keputusan, sedangkan data adalah fakta mentah yang tidak memiliki makna. Hubungan antara pengetahuan, data, dan informasi menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan akan terus berkembang selama proses pengambilan keputusan. Studi ini menganalisis ketersediaan fasilitas kesehatan terhadap keluhan masyarakat di Indonesia pada tahun 2025. Data yang digunakan meliputi jumlah tenaga medis, keluhan masyarakat, dan fasilitas kesehatan di berbagai wilayah. Algoritma K-Means digunakan untuk mengelompokkan data studi berdasarkan atribut yang sebanding. Skor silhouette juga digunakan untuk menghitung jumlah cluster yang ideal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penemuan pola tertentu memungkinkan transformasi data menjadi pengetahuan. Data yang telah dikumpulkan dimasukkan ke dalam beberapa kategori yang menunjukkan ketersediaan fasilitas kesehatan serta tingkat keluhan masyarakat. Terdapat tiga kategori: rendah, sedang, dan tinggi. Akibatnya, pengolahan pengetahuan memiliki kemampuan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang kondisi lapangan yang sebenarnya. Selain itu, proses pengolahan pengetahuan dalam penelitian ini melibatkan interpretasi pola dan pengambilan makna dari hasil clustering; ini menunjukkan tingkat kompleksitas yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan pengolahan data dan informasi biasa. Penggunaan teknik pengolahan data dan pengelolaan database merupakan komponen penting dalam mendukung proses pengolahan pengetahuan, sehingga hasil yang diperoleh dapat digunakan sebagai dasar dalam pengambilan keputusan terkait.

Abstract

Advances in information technology have led to increased complexity in information systems for clinical services, particularly in patient data management, doctor scheduling, and healthcare transactions. This situation requires systems that are not only stable at initial release, but also remain reliable after feature updates. Therefore, software testing is necessary to ensure that each feature runs according to system requirements and does not interfere with existing functionality. This study applies automated testing using Cypress with an Agile-based Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) approach, using end-to-end testing and regression testing methods. Testing was conducted on the clinic's website with the admin role as the main user who manages user authentication, master data, patient visits, and medication transactions. The test results showed that all test cases achieved a pass status after system improvements and adjustments were made. Thus, the implementation of Agile STLC-based automated testing is capable of supporting a structured, adaptive, and sustainable testing process in maintaining the quality of the clinic's information system.

Abstract

The accelerating digital economy pushes micro and small retailers to move from manual cashiers to compact, accurate, cashless-ready solutions. The urgency is evident: pricing entry mistakes, and slow reconciliation erode customer experience and margins. This research focuses on the development and implementation of TETOK, a self-service sales and cashier application integrating digital payments and barcode scanning to reduce transaction friction. The methodology covers stakeholder requirement analysis, system design using UML, web/mobile modular implementation, and black-box testing combined with usability evaluation. The application provides instant barcode capture, product catalog, automatic cart, computed discounts and taxes, QRIS/e-wallet options, and a dashboard summarizing daily sales. Experiments in small retail scenarios show TETOK accelerates checkout by up to forty percent versus manual cashiering, reduces recording errors, and improves stock visibility. The impact includes higher operational efficiency, shorter customer waiting times, and real-time sales data for decision-making. The design also enables future integrations, such as accounting synchronization and multi-branch inventory, while encouraging secure, standardized digital payment adoption. TETOK demonstrates that a focused self-service approach, paired with barcode scanning and digital payments, can deliver a fast, low-contact, end-to-end auditable shopping experience. Implementation proved flexible, easy for staff to learn, cost-effective to operate, and readily scalable nationwide.
