Abstract

Flooding is a hydrometeorological disaster that frequently occurs in Indonesia and causes significant impacts on residential areas. The limitations of early warning systems at the household scale often result in communities being late in taking preventive actions. This study aims to design and develop a prototype of a flood detection system based on Arduino Uno that is capable of providing early warnings through a buzzer and displaying water level information on an LCD. The system uses an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor to measure water surface levels in real time and classify them into three conditions, namely safe, alert, and danger. The research method employed is a design-and-build method with an experimental approach. Testing was conducted in a simulated environment with variations in water level up to 10 cm. The test results show that the system is able to detect changes in water level consistently with relatively small measurement deviations and provide warning responses according to the specified thresholds. This prototype is expected to serve as a simple, economical, and easily implementable solution for a flood early warning system in residential environments.

Abstract

Home security is an important aspect of modern life, especially in the digital era that demands efficiency and ease of monitoring. The development of Internet of Things (IoT) technology has opened up great opportunities in the development of smart home security systems. Based on these conditions, this study aims to design and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based home door security system by utilizing a Reed Switch sensor (magnetic door) and a NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller. The Reed Switch sensor functions to detect the door status, both in open and closed states, while the NodeMCU ESP8266 is used as a control center that processes sensor data and sends notifications in real-time via Telegram Bot. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) which includes the stages of system analysis, design, implementation, testing, and evaluation. The test results show that the system is able to detect changes in door conditions well and send notifications quickly and accurately to users. In addition, the system can operate stably for a fairly long period of time without significant problems. Therefore, the IoT-based door security system developed can be used as an additional security solution that is effective, easy to implement, and economical to improve home security.

Abstract

The development of information technology has driven a transformation in healthcare service management, including in the management system of medical warehouse inventory in hospitals. Bhayangkara Hospital TK II Medan, as a referral hospital, has complex and ongoing medical logistics needs, requiring an effective and accurate inventory management system. However, inventory systems that are still manual or semi-computerized pose various problems, such as discrepancies between stock data and physical conditions, delays in information on item availability, difficulties in monitoring expiration dates, as well as the risk of stock shortages or overstocking. This study aims to design a web-based medical warehouse inventory system capable of managing data centrally and in real-time. The research methods used include system requirements analysis, system design, and web-based system implementation. The results of this study are expected to produce an inventory system that facilitates recording of incoming and outgoing goods, monitoring of stock and expiration dates, and the presentation of accurate reports. With this system, it is anticipated that the management of the medical warehouse inventory at Bhayangkara Hospital TK II Medan will become more effective and efficient and support improvements in healthcare service quality.

Abstract

Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Selatan memiliki peluang besar di bidang ekonomi kreatif dan UMKM, tetapi sistem informasi digital yang mendukung masih kurang terintegrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat website "Labusel Creative" sebagai pusat informasi yang menyatu, dengan menggunakan metode User Centered Design (UCD) agar pengguna merasa nyaman dan mudah dalam mengakses informasi. Selain itu, fitur Internet of Things (IoT) yang menggunakan mikrokontroler ESP32 diintegrasikan untuk mengawasi suhu di studio kreatif secara langsung. Hasil penelitian berhasil menciptakan antarmuka yang mudah digunakan oleh masyarakat umum, serta memberikan platform informasi lokal yang efektif untuk meningkatkan penjualan produk daerah di dunia maya.

Abstract

Bisnis parfum decant memiliki karakteristik operasional yang unik karena satu botol parfum utama dijual kembali dalam berbagai ukuran volume kecil, sehingga pengelolaan stok menjadi rentan terhadap kesalahan jika dilakukan secara manual. Permasalahan ini semakin kompleks ketika stok harus dihitung dan dipotong berdasarkan volume mililiter yang berbeda-beda pada setiap transaksi, sementara sistem pencatatan manual kurang mampu menangani komputasi tersebut secara akurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi Point of Sale (POS) berbasis web yang mampu menangani pengelolaan stok berbasis volume (mililiter) serta meningkatkan keamanan data transaksi melalui pembatasan hak akses pengguna. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan Framework Laravel dengan penerapan Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) untuk membedakan hak akses antara Admin dan Kasir secara tepat. Metodologi pengembangan perangkat lunak yang digunakan adalah System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model Waterfall, sedangkan pengujian fungsionalitas dilakukan menggunakan metode Black Box Testing untuk memastikan seluruh fitur berfungsi sesuai kebutuhan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat melakukan pengurangan stok otomatis secara presisi berdasarkan volume mililiter yang terjual, serta membatasi akses fitur sensitif sesuai peran pengguna. Implementasi sistem ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan akurasi pencatatan inventaris, efisiensi operasional, dan keamanan data pada operasional toko parfum decant.

Abstract

Pengelolaan stok bahan baku yang efektif berperan penting dalam menunjang efisiensi operasional perusahaan konfeksi. Ketidaksesuaian antara tingkat permintaan dan ketersediaan persediaan berpotensi menimbulkan kondisi kekurangan maupun kelebihan stok, yang pada akhirnya memengaruhi biaya penyimpanan serta kelancaran proses produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan menganalisis penerapan metode prediksi Single Moving Average (SMA) dalam rangka mengoptimalkan manajemen stok bahan baku. Metodologi penelitian meliputi pengumpulan data historis permintaan bahan baku selama periode 11 bulan pada perusahaan konfeksi, implementasi metode SMA, serta pengujian tingkat akurasi menggunakan indikator Mean Absolute Error (MAE) dan Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE).  Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa metode SMA mampu memberikan tingkat prediksi yang relatif baik pada produk dengan pola permintaan yang stabil, seperti kategori MCB, dengan nilai MAE sebesar 4,79 unit dan MAPE sebesar 14,69%. Sebaliknya, pada produk dengan tingkat fluktuasi permintaan yang tinggi, seperti Cable PWR, performa prediksi mengalami penurunan yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai MAPE hingga 37%. Kontribusi utama penelitian ini terletak pada analisis keterbatasan metode SMA dalam menangani data permintaan yang tidak stabil serta rekomendasi penggunaan metode prediksi yang lebih adaptif, seperti Weighted Moving Average (WMA) atau Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM). Temuan penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan dalam pengembangan solusi berbasis sistem informasi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan stok bahan baku pada industri konfeksi skala kecil dan menengah, sekaligus membuka peluang pengembangan sistem prediksi yang lebih akurat di masa mendatang

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi mendorong pelaku usaha tambak ikan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dalam proses penjualan dan pengelolaan data. Namun, sistem penjualan yang masih dilakukan secara manual seringkali menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan, seperti kesalahan pencatatan, keterlambatan informasi, serta keterbatasan jangkauan pemasaran. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan aplikasi penjualan hasil tambak ikan berbasis website menggunakan metode Waterfall. Metode Waterfall dipilih karena memiliki tahapan yang sistematis dan terstruktur, meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, pengujian, serta pemeliharaan. Aplikasi ini dikembangkan dengan fitur utama seperti pengelolaan data produk ikan, transaksi penjualan, manajemen pelanggan, serta laporan penjualan secara otomatis. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi yang dibangun mampu meningkatkan efisiensi dalam proses pengelolaan data penjualan, meminimalisir kesalahan pencatatan, serta memperluas jangkauan pemasaran melalui platform digital. Selain itu, sistem ini juga mempermudah pemilik tambak dalam memantau transaksi dan menghasilkan laporan secara cepat dan akurat.

Abstract

Keamanan jaringan merupakan aspek krusial dalam menjaga integritas data dan keberlangsungan layanan sistem informasi, khususn ya di lingkungan institusi pendidikan seperti Poltekpar Medan. Salah satu ancaman awal yang sering terjadi dalam siklus serangan siber adalah port scanning, yang bertujuan untuk memetakan kerentanan sistem. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan dan menganalisis efektivitas Uncomplicated Firewall (UFW) dengan metode Stateful Packet Filtering dalam memitigasi serangan tersebut. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan eksperimental simulasi dengan topologi host-guest, di mana Ubuntu Server 22.04 bertindak sebagai target dan Windows 11 sebagai penyerang menggunakan Nmap. Pengujian dilakukan dengan membandingkan respons jaringan sebelum dan sesudah implementasi firewall. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum implementasi, seluruh port terbuka (22 dan 80) dapat dideteksi dengan status Open. Setelah UFW diaktifkan dengan konfigurasi default deny incoming, status port berubah menjadi Filtered dan sistem berhasil mencatat log aktivitas pemblokiran paket secara real-time. Analisis forensik log menunjukkan bahwa UFW mampu membedakan koneksi sah dan ilegal berdasarkan tabel status (state table), membuktikan bahwa metode stateful efektif menyembunyikan arsitektur jaringan dari pemindaian eksternal.

Abstract

Advances in information technology have driven a digital transformation in household energy management through cloud-based monitoring systems that enable real-time, centralized consumption monitoring (Rahman & Sari, 2023). However, implementation remains challenging because most households rely solely on monthly bills without detailed knowledge of consumption patterns, potentially leading to electricity waste. CV Atta Network possesses a household energy consumption dataset that has not been optimized into an integrated system. This research aims to design a cloud-based monitoring system to analyze household energy consumption using this dataset. This system is expected to help users understand energy consumption patterns and support efficient electricity use.

Abstract

A routine activity carried out by students and teachers before the teaching and learning process is attendance. Attendance is one of the important components used as a benchmark for assessing attendance and performance. Attendance activities, especially in schools, tend to still use manual methods. So there are still frequent errors in recapitulation and recording of attendance. One of the microcontroller components that supports attendance activities is the ESP 32 Cam. Therefore, research was conducted to create an effective and easy-to-use attendance system based on the ESP 32 Cam. The ESP 32 Cam has the advantage of being equipped with a camera and wifi so that teachers who will take attendance are required to record facial images. This minimizes the occurrence of fraud in the attendance process. Furthermore, the Firebase Database functions as a storage place for teacher attendance data. Firebase Database is a service that provides a cloud-based data storage application in JSON format. In addition, Firebase Database also has the advantage of real-time data synchronization. After conducting research, the ESP32 Cam is not equipped with a good operating system for managing system files. Therefore, the author tried to conduct research by developing a teacher attendance system with the ESP 32 Cam and Firebase Database. The attendance process begins with the administrator registering or recording a facial image. The attendance process is then carried out by bringing the face close to the ESP 32 Cam camera. The identified facial recording is then sent and stored in the Firebase Database. The results of this study indicate that the attendance system can only be used by teachers who have previously registered and only covers teachers at one school.
