Abstract

The digital era has brought various innovations in all aspects of life, including in the world of education. The integration of technology in the learning system in madrasah is a necessity that cannot be ignored to prepare students to face future challenges. This paper explores how madrasahs can implement technology in the teaching and learning process, ranging from the use of hardware and software, online learning platforms, to educational applications. The research method used is literature review. The results show the importance of technology integration in learning in madrasahs to improve the quality of education and prepare students adequately for the digital era. Despite the challenges, collaboration among education stakeholders is considered crucial in ensuring a successful transition to a technology-based learning system, which in turn will shape a more innovative, interactive learning environment that supports students' overall development

Abstract

Technological innovation plays a crucial role in achieving sustainable agriculture through advanced solutions that address challenges in the sector. The application of technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), and big data enables real-time monitoring of soil, weather, and crop conditions, which helps farmers in efficient resource management and smart decision-making. In addition, these technologies contribute to reducing environmental impacts by optimising the use of water, fertilisers and pesticides through precision farming practices. Nonetheless, challenges in technology adoption, such as high costs and lack of technical knowledge, remain. Collaboration between government, industry, and educational institutions is needed to provide financial support and training to farmers, so that technological innovations can generate sustainable benefits for the agricultural sector and society at large.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technologies has fundamentally reshaped agricultural systems, transforming traditional farming practices into data-driven, technology-enabled, and market-oriented production models. This transformation is driven by innovations such as precision agriculture, artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, and digital platforms, which collectively enhance productivity, resource efficiency, and market connectivity. This study aims to systematically review and synthesize existing scholarly literature on agricultural transformation in the digital age, with a particular focus on technological innovation, value chain integration, and farmer empowerment. Employing a qualitative library-based research approach, this study analyses peer-reviewed publications indexed in major academic databases, including Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar. A thematic content analysis is applied to identify dominant research themes, conceptual frameworks, and empirical patterns. The findings reveal that digital innovation significantly improves farm-level productivity and sustainability, while digital value chain integration enhances supply chain efficiency, transparency, and market access. Furthermore, digital tools play a crucial role in empowering farmers by expanding access to knowledge, financial services, and high-value markets, thereby strengthening livelihoods and economic resilience. However, the review also identifies persistent challenges related to digital inequality, infrastructure gaps, regulatory fragmentation, and unequal access to innovation, particularly among smallholder farmers and marginalized groups. These constraints may limit the inclusiveness and long-term sustainability of digital agricultural transformation. This study contributes to the literature by providing an integrative conceptual synthesis that connects technological, economic, and social dimensions of agricultural transformation. The findings offer important insights for policymakers, development practitioners, and agribusiness stakeholders in designing inclusive, resilient, and competitive agricultural development strategies in the digital era.

Abstract

Rural economic empowerment through agribusiness development has become an important focus in efforts to improve community welfare and reduce economic disparities between urban and rural areas. The review in this study uses the literature method. The review shows that agribusiness development has the potential to increase farmers' income, create jobs, and drive local economic growth. However, to advance this, challenges such as limited access to capital and technology, as well as the need for more supportive policies, still need to be addressed. Thus, a holistic and collaborative approach involving various stakeholders is needed to maximise the positive impact of agribusiness-based economic empowerment initiatives in rural areas.

Abstract

Improving the village economy through socialisation and mentoring of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is a strategic approach that has proven to be effective and sustainable. Hence, the importance of socialisation as a tool to provide an in-depth understanding of entrepreneurship to village communities. Through this comprehensive education, local communities can understand the benefits and techniques of starting and growing a business, which in turn, can improve their standard of living. More than just providing basic knowledge, socialisation fosters passion and confidence, which are often barriers to starting a business. Village MSME mentoring offers ongoing support in various aspects of business such as technical operations, management, marketing, and access to resources. With the right mentoring, village MSMEs can utilise technology, improve product quality, and implement effective marketing strategies. Mentors also assist in long-term business strategy planning, financial management, as well as building a wider market network including e-commerce. All of these contribute to improving the competitiveness of village MSMEs at the local, regional and national levels. In conclusion, socialisation and mentoring of MSMEs is a very effective instrument to drive the village economy. Proper education and ongoing support allow village MSMEs to thrive, thereby contributing significantly to the local economy. This not only improves individual welfare but also strengthens the village economy as a whole, making it more independent and resilient in the face of economic challenges. Investing in MSME socialisation and mentoring is a strategic move with positive long-term impacts, creating more prosperous and highly competitive villages.
