Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dilaksanakan untuk memberikan pembinaan awal kepada mahasiswa baru Universitas Halu Oleo dalam memahami strategi percepatan masa studi. Mahasiswa baru kerap menghadapi berbagai tantangan adaptasi akademik, seperti kurangnya pemahaman terhadap penyusunan rencana studi, pengelolaan waktu, serta pemanfaatan layanan akademik kampus. PkM ini dirancang untuk menjawab kebutuhan tersebut melalui kegiatan sosialisasi, diskusi interaktif, dan simulasi penyusunan rencana studi delapan semester. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 25 September 2025 dengan melibatkan 35 peserta mahasiswa baru. Pelaksanaan berjalan lancar dan mendapat respon positif dari peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai strategi akademik dan non-akademik yang diperlukan untuk menyelesaikan studi tepat waktu, termasuk pentingnya IPK awal, manajemen waktu, dan distribusi beban SKS yang sesuai. Selain itu, seluruh peserta berhasil menyusun rencana studi awal sebagai pedoman akademik pribadi. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa pelatihan berbasis interaktif dan praktik langsung efektif dalam meningkatkan kesiapan akademik mahasiswa baru. Program serupa direkomendasikan untuk dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan dan diperluas cakupannya ke program studi lain guna mendukung peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran dan penyelesaian studi tepat waktu di lingkungan Universitas Halu Oleo. Kata kunci: Percepatan Studi; Mahasiswa; Akademik Abstract This Community Service Program (PkM) was conducted to provide initial academic guidance for first-year students at Halu Oleo University, focusing on strategies to accelerate study completion. New students often face various academic adaptation challenges, such as limited understanding of study planning, time management, and the effective use of campus academic services. This program was designed to address these needs through a series of socialization activities, interactive discussions, and simulations of an eight-semester study plan. The activity was held on September 25, 2025, involving 35 first-year students, and it was implemented smoothly with positive responses from participants. The results indicate an increased understanding of essential academic and non-academic strategies required for timely study completion, including the importance of early GPA management, effective time allocation, and appropriate distribution of course loads. Furthermore, all participants successfully developed an initial study plan that can serve as their personal academic roadmap. This program demonstrates that interactive and practice-based training effectively enhances the academic readiness of new students. It is recommended that similar programs be conducted regularly and expanded to other study programs to support improved learning quality and timely graduation across Halu Oleo University.
