Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan kelincahan dribbling atlet bola basket KU-18 Putra Club TunasBM Rejang Lebong yang berdampak pada prestasi tim. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode latihan modifikasi Illinois Agility Run terhadap peningkatan kelincahan dribbling. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest, melibatkan 22 atlet yang mengikuti 16 kali pertemuan latihan. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes AAHPERD Basketball Control Dribble dan dianalisis menggunakan uji paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan setelah perlakuan (Mean = 2,83364; SD = 1,32323; t = 10,044; df = 21; p = 0,001 < 0,05) Abstract This study was motivated by the low dribbling agility of male U-18 basketball athletes at TunasBM Club, Rejang Lebong, which affected team performance. The study aimed to determine the effect of the modified Illinois Agility Run training method on improving dribbling agility. The method used was a quasi-experimental design with a One Group Pretest-Posttest approach, involving 22 athletes who participated in 16 training sessions. Data were collected using the AAHPERD Basketball Control Dribble Test and analyzed with a paired sample t-test. The results showed a significant improvement after the treatment (Mean = 2.83364; SD = 1.32323; t = 10.044; df = 21; p = 0.001 < 0.05).
