<![CDATA[Tingkah laku kepiting bakau (Scylla serrata) dalam mencari makan menjadi dasar dalam aplikasi operasi penangkapan. Stadia umur yang berbeda pada kepiting memiliki respon berbeda pada tiap stimulus (umpan). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui interaksi faktor perbedaan umpan dan stadia umur terhadap waktu respon kepiting; faktor perbedaan umpan terhadap waktu respon kepiting dan faktor perbedaan stadia umur terhadap waktu respon kepiting. Materi penelitian adalah kelompok umur kepiting muda (lebar karapas 8 cm) dan dewasa (lebar karapas11 cm) serta jenis umpan berupa umpan kepala ayam, ikan petek dan keong mas segar. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen di laboratorium dengan 3 variabel umpan dan 2 stadia umur dengan 6 perlakuan. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas One Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov, uji ANOVA RAL faktorial dan uji Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat interaksi antara faktor perbedaan umpan dan stadia umur tehadap waktu respon. Umpan kepala ayam memberikan waktu respon tercepat jika dibandingkan umpan ikan petek dan keong mas. Kepiting stadia dewasa memberikan waktu respon tercepat jika dibandingkan kepiting muda khusus pada umpan kepala ayam. The Mud Crab’s (Scylla serrata) behavior in feeding habits becomes the base of operation application of fish capturing in the field. The different mud crab’s life stage provides the different responses to each stimulus (bait). The purpose of this study is to know the interaction between the different types of bait and life stage factor towards the response  speed of mud crab; the different types of bait towards response speed of mud crab and the different life stage towards the response speed of mud crab factor. The materials used in this research are sub-adult (carapace width 8 cm) and adult (carapce 11 cm) mud crab and the types of fresh bait in the form of chicken’s head, leiognathus fish, and golden snail. The methods used in this reasearch are experimental laboratory and the method analysis with two variables: the types of bait and life stage with six treatments. The data analyses used are One-Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, RAL factorial ANOVA test and Duncan test. The result of this research shows the interaction between the different types of bait and life stage factor towards the response speed of mud crab. The bait in the form of chicken’s head gives the fastest response among the liognathus fish and the golden snail bait. The life stage of adult mud crab gives the faster response than the sub-adult mud crab special for chicken’s head bait.]]>
