Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan  keterampilan sosial anak usia 5-6 tahun melalui penerapan pendekatan scaffolding di PAUD Sutitah Soedarso 1 Desa Jungkat tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitis yang berorientasi pada pemecahan masalah dengan pendekatan equivalent time design. Setelah diberikan pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan scaffolding kepada 20 anak, diperoleh hasil bahwa mereka mengalami peningkatan keterampilan sosial. Peningkatan ini ditandai dengan perolehan rerata skor 2,32 pada pembelajaran 1; 2,52 pada perbelajaran 2; dan 2,60 pada pembelajaran 3.   Kata kunci : pendekatan scaffolding, keterampilan sosial Abstract: This study aims to develop the social skills of children aged 5-6 years through the application of scaffolding approach in PAUD Sutiah Soerdarso 1 Jungkat village school year 2013/2014. The method used in this research is analytical description that is oriented on problem solving with the equivalent time design approach. After being given the lesson using scaffolding approach to 20 children, the results shows that they have increased social skills. This increase is shown with the first meeting of class score an average of 2,32; the second meeting of class score an average of 2,52; the third meeting with an average score of 2,6.   Keywords: scaffolding approach, social skill
