Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh supervisi dan disiplin kerja kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran di SMP Kota Bengkayang. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan dua model hipotesis yaitu hipotesis alternative (Ha) dimana peneliti berasumsi bahwa terjadi pengaruh yang signifikan dari supervisi dan disiplin kerja kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran, dan model hipotesis nol (Ho) dimana peneliti berasumsi bahwa tidak terjadi pengaruh yang signifikan dari variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat tersebut.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari masing-masing (parsial) variabel supervisi dan disiplin kerja kepala sekolah terhadap peningkatan pengelolaan pembelajaran dan secara simultan hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dari variabel supervisi dan disiplin kerja kepala sekolah terhadap peningkatan pengelolaan pembelajaran sehingga hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima dan hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak. Kegiatan supervisi yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan peran guru dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran secara optimal. Kata Kunci: Supervisi, Disiplin Kerja, Pengelolaan Pembelajaran   Abstract : This study aimed to determine the effect of supervision and work discipline of the principal on teacher performance in the management of teaching at SMPs in Bengkayang town. In this study, researcher used two models of hypothesis, namely alternative hypothesis (Ha) where researchers assume that there is a significant effect of supervision and work discipline of the principal on teacher performance in the management of learning, and the model of the null hypothesis (Ho) where researcher assumed that did not have significant effects of the independent variables on the dependent variable. The results of this study indicated that there has been a significant influence of the both variables of supervision and work discipline of the principal toward teachers’ performance in the increase of teaching management. Either simultaneously or partially, the results of this study also showed that there has been a significant influence so that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. Supervision activities carried out by the principal is necessary to enhance the role of the teacher in the learning management optimally.
