<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis ada tidaknya perbedaan penggunaan model Numbered Heads Together dengan metode diskusi terhadap kemampuan berbicara siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 24 Pontianak Tenggara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Bentuk penelitian eksperimen yang digunakan adalah alternative treatment post-test only with nonequivalent groups design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 67 siswa. Hasil analisis data diperoleh rata-rata kemampuan berbicara siswa pada kelas A sebesar 76,32 dan rata-rata kemampuan berbicara siswa pada kelas B sebesar 70,45 serta thitung sebesar 2,24 dan ttabel( α = 5 %) sebesar 1,997. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berbicara siswa. Kata kunci : Komparasi, Numbered Heads Together, diskusi  Abstract : This research aims to analyze whether there is any difference in the use of models Numbered Heads Together with a discussion of the methods of class V students' speaking ability Elementary School 24 Southeast Pontianak. The method used in this study is the experimental method. Form of experimental research is an alternative treatment that is used post-test only design with nonequivalent groups. The sample in this research was 67 students. The results of the analysis of data obtained average speaking ability of students in class A at 76.32 and the average speaking ability of students in class B at 70.45 and t count of 2.24 and t table (α = 5%) of 1,997.
