Abstract

B.IndonesiaGardu induk 2 STPI terdapat genset yang berfungsi sebagai catu daya cadangan yang berkapasitas 250 KVA, dan membahas optimalisasi kapasitas genset, apakah kapasitas genset sesuai dengan beban yang terpasang. Kondisi saat ini, kapasitas genset yang ada belum diketahui apakah kapasitasnya memadai sebagai catu daya cadangan terhadap beban yang terpasang di asrama curug 1. Untuk memudahkan penyelesaian masalah yang termuat dalam judul , langkah awal yang dilakukan adalah pengumpulan data, dengan mendata seluruh beban yang ada di asrama curug 1, single line diagram kondisi saat ini, dan spesifikasi genset di gardu induk 2. Setelah data yang diperlukan penulis melakukan pengolahan data dengan pengoptimalan kapasitas genset terhadap beban terpasang di asrama curug 1. Dengan adanya perubahan desain maka dilakukan pemisahan beban-beban yang ada di gardu 2, maka dibuatlah panel baru untuk melayani genset dan beban prioritas seperti lampu, stop kontak dan pompa, sedangkan beban terpasang yang lain tetap di supply oleh PLN. Disarankan segera menindak lanjuti hasil optimalisasi kapasitas genset untuk melayani beban di asrama curug 1, sehingga dalam kegiatan taruna di asrama berjalan dengan baik. Dengan hasil pengoptimalan kapasitas genset ini diharapkan akan terciptanya sistem catu daya listrik yang baik.B.EnglishSTPI substation 2 has a generator that functions as a backup power supply with a capacity of 250 KVA, and discusses the optimization of the generator capacity, whether the generator capacity matches the installed load. After the required data the author performs data processing by optimizing the capacity of the generator set for loads installed at the curug boarding 1. With a change in design, the separation of loads is carried out In substation 2, a new panel was made to serve the generator set and priority loads such as lights, sockets and pumps, while other installed loads remained supplied by PLN. It is recommended to immediately follow up the results of the generator capacity optimization to serve the load in Curug 1 dormitory, so that the cadets in the dormitory activities run well. With the results of this generator capacity optimization, it is expected that a good electrical power supply system will be created.
