Kebutuhan tidur pada remaja dan orang dewasa usia 18-40 tahun menurut dokter untuk hidup sehat membutuhkan waktu tidur 7 - 8 jam setiap hari. Dampak stres dalam menyusun skripsi adalah keadaan saat mahasiswa merasakan gangguan tidur, kesulitan tidur, tidur tidak tenang, kesulitan menahan tidur, sering terbangun di pertengahan malam, dan sering terbangun di awal. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat stress dengan gangguan kualitas tidur pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir yang sedang skripsi. Jenis penelitian menggunakan cross sectional non-eksperimental. Populasi sebanyak 31 responden, menggunakan total sampling. Instrumen Depression Anxiety Stres (DASS) untuk tingkat kecemasan dan gangguan kualitas tidur menggunakan Pittsburgh Sleep Qualilty Index (PSQI). Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji statistic Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian diperoleh 58,1% responden kategori stres sangat berat, dan 45,1% responden mengalami kualitas tidur sedang. Ada hubungan antara tingkat stress dengan gangguan kualitas tidur (p value 0,032). Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan tambahan materi pengajaran pada mata kuliah keperawatan jiwa terkait pendalaman teori stress dan pengenalan terapi yang dapat menurunkan tingkat stress yang dapat dipraktikan kepada mahasiswa khususnya tingkat akhir yang sedang menyusun skripsi. The impact of stress in writing a thesis is a condition when students feel sleep disturbances, have difficulty sleeping, sleep restlessly, have difficulty holding sleep, often wake up in the middle of the night, and often wake up early. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between stress levels and sleep quality disorders in final year nursing students who are preparing a thesis. This kind of research uses a non-experimental cross sectional. The population as many as 31 respondents. The sample uses sampling resume. Anxiety level instrument using Depression Anxiety Stress (DASS) and sleep quality disorders using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Bivariate analysis using Chi-Square statistical test. The results obtained 58.1% of respondents with very severe stress category, and 45.1% of respondents experienced moderate sleep quality. There is a relationship between stress levels and sleep quality disorders (p value 0,032). The results of this research can be used as additional teaching materials in mental nursing courses related to deepening stress theory and introduction therapy that can reduce the level of stress that can be practice to students, especially the final year who are compiling a thesis.
