<![CDATA[AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh model Cooperative Learning tipe Make a Match terhadap keterampilan sosial siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA SMP (2) pengaruh model Cooperatuve Learning tipe Make a Match terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA SMP Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan desain non equivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Wates terdiri lima kelas. Sampel dalam penelitian diambil menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Diperoleh kelas VIII C sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe make a match dan kelas VIII D sebagai kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional/pembelajaran langsung. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah instrumen tes dan nontes yaitu lembar keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, lembar observasi keterampilan sosial, dan soal pretest-posttest. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, uji-t dan N-Gain dengan menggunakan program SPSS 18. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe make a match berpengaruh posistif terhadap keterampilan sosial siswa SMP dibuktikan oleh hasil uji t dengan nilai sig 0,25 (2) model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe make a match berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa SMP dibuktikan oleh hasil uji t dengan nilai sig 0,48 dan hasil N-Gain kelas eksperimen lebih besar dibanding kelas kontrol yaitu 0,60690,5273Kata kunci: Pengaruh model pembelajaran, cooperative learning tipe make a match, keterampilan sosial, hasil belajar kognitifAbstractThis research aims to determine (1) the effect of the type of model of Cooperative Learning Make a Matchagainst the social skills of students in science learning SMP (2) the effect of Learning-type models CooperatuveMake a Match against cognitive achievement of students in junior high school science teachingThis research is a quasi-experimental design of learning science with non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMPN 2 Wates consisting of five classes namely class A, B, C, D, and E. The samples in this study using cluster random sampling technique. Retrieved class VII C as the experimental class using the type cooperative learning model of learning make a match and class D as the control class uses conventional learning models / direct learning. The research instrument used is the test instrument and the report sheet learning, social skills observation sheets, and question pretest-posttest.
