MODEL BANGKITAN PERGERAKAN PENGGUNA SEPEDA MOTOR BERDASARKAN AKTIVITAS MANDATORY DI KOTA LHOKSEUMAWE

Abstract: The increasing population and number of vehicles, especially motorcycles ownership in Lhokseumawe city raises complex traffic problems especially not accompanied by the addition of facilities. The activities influence the movement of the motorcycle. Several factors can affect the movement that is social demographic of individuals or families, accessibility and so on. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of the movement of the motorcycle and the factors that influence to obtain the trip generation model of motorcycle users in Lhokseumawe city. The primary survey conducted with questionnaires in 400 families residing in Lhokseumawe city covers four subdistricts, namely Banda Sakti, Muara Satu, Muara Dua, and Blang Mangat. Modelling the trip generation of motorcycle users for each subdistrict and each activity modelling used multiple linear regression analysis. Calibration parameters used OLS methode (Ordinary Least Square) with the SPSS-19. The results of this study were obtained two (2) groups of movement activity model in Lhokseumawe, namely the mandatory activity which variables that affect the movement of motorcycle users include: age, family income (Rp. 5 million to Rp. 7.5 million) and SIM ownership. Abstrak: Meningkatnya pertumbuhan penduduk dan jumlah kepemilikan kendaraan khususnya sepeda motor di kota Lhokseumawe menimbulkan permasalahan lalu lintas yang kompleks apalagi tidak disertai dengan penambahan fasilitas. Adanya aktivitas menimbulkan pergerakan pengguna sepeda motor. Beberapa faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi pergerakan yaitu sosial demografi dari individu atau keluarga, aksesibilitas dan sebagainya. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis karakteristik pergerakan pengguna sepeda motor dan faktor yang mempengaruhinya sehingga didapatkan model bangkitan pergerakan pengguna sepeda motor di kota Lhokseumawe. Survei primer dilakukan dengan pengisian kuesioner pada 400 KK yang berdomisili di kota Lhokseumawe mencakup 4 kecamatan yaitu Banda Sakti, Muara Satu, Muara Dua, dan Blang Mangat. Pemodelan bangkitan pergerakan pengguna sepeda motor per masing-masing kecamatan dan masing-masing aktivitas digunakan pemodelan analisis regresi linier berganda. Kalibrasi parameter regresi digunakan metode OLS (Ordinary Least Square) dengan bantuan software SPSS-19. Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh 2 (dua) kelompok model aktivitas pergerakan di Kota Lhokseumawe yaitu pada aktivitas mandatory, variabel-variabel yang mempengaruhi pergerakan pengguna sepeda motor antara lain : umur, penghasilan keluarga (Rp. 5 juta s/d Rp. 7,5 juta) dan kepemilikan SIM.
