<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis Motif Sosial Tindakan Bunuh Diri (Studi Terhadap Kasus Bunuh Diri Remaja di Kabupaten Manggarai). Kegunaan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana motif sosial dapat mempengaruhi peningkatan bunuh diri remaja dan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana peran keluarga sangat penting untuk mengurangi terjadinya bunuh diri pada remaja di Kabupaten Manggarai. Adapun objek dari penelitian ini yaitu keluarga korban, teman korban, kepala desa, petugas kepolisian, dan tokoh masyarakat dengan memilih 11 orang informan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa meningkatnya kasus bunuh diri remaja di pengaruhi oleh beberapa motif bunuh diri yaitu motif egoistik, altruistik, anomik dan motif fatalistik. Di samping keempat motif tersebut peran keluarga dalam kehidupan sosio-ekonomi, pendidikan serta komunikasi dan interaksi sosial belum terealisasikan dengan baik. This study aims to examine and analyze the social motives of suicide actions (study of adolescent suicide cases in Manggarai Regency). The purpose of this study is to describe how social motives can influence the increase in adolescent suicide and to describe how to role of the family is very important to reduce the occurrence of suicide in adolescents in Manggarai Regency. The objects of this research are the victim’s famliy, friends of the victim, village head, police officers, and community leaders by selecting 11 informants. The study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The results showed that the increase in adolescent suicide cases was influenced by several suicide motives, namely egoistic, altruistic, anomic, and fatlistic motives.
