Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Siswa Melalui Model Pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) di SMA Negeri 1 Watubangga

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keadaan atau kondisi terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X IPS SMA Negeri 1 Watubangga yang masih kurang optimal, karena kualitas proses dan hasil pembelajaran PPKn yang dilaksanakan masih kurang dari kriteria ketuntasan minimum. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa melalui model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) di SMA Negeri 1 Watubangga. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri atas prasiklus, siklus I dan siklus II dengan menggunakan metode statistik deskriptif terhadap 35 siswa kelas X IPS SMA Negeri 1 Watubangga. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa tes. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada prasiklus di kelas X IPS SMA Negeri 1 Watubangga berada pada nilai rata-rata 66. Pada siklus I terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata 72,34 dan ketuntasan secara klasikal sebesar 17%. Hasil tindakan siklus I, selanjutnya dilakukan perbaikan pada siklus II, sehingga nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat menjadi 76,09 dan ketuntasan secara klasikal sebesar 81% dengan intensitas peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PPKn di kelas X IPS SMA Negeri 1 Watubangga dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 3,85% dan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dianggap telah berhasil dengan diterapkannya model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT). Kata Kunci: Numbered Head Together, hasil belajar, PPKn Abstract This research was motivated by the circumstances or conditions for the learning outcomes of class X IPS students at SMA Negeri 1 Watubangga which are still not optimal, because the quality of the process and learning outcomes of the PPKn carried out are still less than the minimum completeness criteria. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in student learning outcomes through the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model at SMA Negeri 1 Watubangga. This type of research is classroom action research consisting of pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II using descriptive statistical methods on 35 students of class X IPS SMA Negeri 1 Watubangga. The research instrument is in the form of a test. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, tests, and documentation. The results showed that the pre-cycle in class X IPS SMA Negeri 1 Watubangga was at an average score of 66. In the first cycle there was an increase in learning outcomes with an average score of 72.34 and classical completeness of 17%. The results of the actions of cycle I, then carried out improvements in cycle II, so that the average value of students increased to 76.09 and classical completeness was 83% with the intensity of increasing student learning outcomes in PPKn subjects in class X IPS SMA Negeri 1 Watubangga from cycle I to cycle II of 3.85% and an increase in student learning outcomes is considered successful with the implementation of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model.
