Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan proses pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning yang dapat meningkatkan minat dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas X di SMAN 2 Jonggat tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XE-1 yang berjumlah 36 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi, angket minat belajar matematika dan tes evaluasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil angket dan tes  matematika siswa meningkat dari  siklus I ke siklus  II. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning dapat meningkatkan minat belajar dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. The research aims to describe the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach process which can increase the interest and ability to solve mathematical problems in class X students at SMAN 2 Jonggat for the 2023/2024 academic year. This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The research subjects were 36 students in class XE-1. The instruments used were observation sheets, interest questionnaires in learning mathematics, and evaluation tests of mathematical problem-solving abilities. The data analysis techniques used are quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of student questionnaires and mathematics tests increased from cycle I to cycle II.
