Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan literasi matematika siswa pada materi aritmatika sosial pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Singkawang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 3 Singkawang pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII A dan siswa kelas VII C. Jenis dan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain Quasi Eksperimental berupa The Nonequlvalent Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah uji N-gain, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji t dua sampel, ketuntasan individu dan ketuntasan klasikal, serta persentase keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan literasi matematika setelah diterapkan pembelajaran LOK-R dengan yang menggunakan Discovery Learning pada materi aritmatika sosial, 2) kemampuan literasi matematika mencapai individu ketuntasan dan ketuntasan klasikal, 3) pembelajaran LOK-R dapat terlaksana dengan baik   This research aims to determine differences in improving students' mathematical literacy skills in social arithmetic material for class VII SMP Negeri 3 Singkawang students. This research was carried out at Singkawang 3 Middle School in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The samples in this research were class VII A students and class VII C students. The type and research design used was quantitative research with a Quasi Experimental design in the form of The Nonequlvalent Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. The data analysis techniques in this research are the N-gain test, normality test, homogeneity test, two-sample t-test, individual completeness and classical completeness, and percentage of learning implementation. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that: 1) there is a difference in the increase in mathematical literacy skills after implementing LOK-R learning and those using Discovery Learning on social arithmetic material, 2) mathematical literacy skills reach individual completeness and classical completeness, 3) learning LOK-R can be implemented well.
