Childhood is a crucial period in a child's physical development which is influenced by various internal and external factors. Optimal physical growth of children is greatly influenced by nutritional factors, parenting patterns, environment, and access to health and educational facilities. This research aims to identify supporting factors and challenges that influence the dynamics of children's physical growth. This research uses a literature study method to collect and analyze secondary data from scientific journals, books and articles related to children's physical growth. Data analysis was carried out in three stages: organizing, synthesizing, and identifying findings to understand supporting factors and challenges in optimizing children's physical growth. The research results show that adequate nutritional intake, positive parenting patterns from parents, and a healthy environment play a significant role in supporting children's growth. Children who receive balanced nutrition, including protein, vitamins and minerals, show better physical growth. Apart from that, the role of parents who provide emotional attention and education also supports children's physical and psychological development. However, the main challenges faced are malnutrition, limited access to health services, as well as the impact of socio-economic factors such as poverty and low levels of parental education. This research suggests several strategies to overcome these challenges, including increasing nutrition education, improving sanitation infrastructure, and empowering communities through health intervention programs.
