<![CDATA[Resistance, in its various dimensions, often appears in the stories of Indonesian novels that depict the social, political, and cultural complexities of society. One example of this resistance can be found in Papua, which has yet to find a proper resolution. This resistance is largely triggered by the injustice felt by the Papuan people due to the hegemony of power imposed by the government. Using a qualitative-descriptive method, this study aims to understand the counter-hegemony reflected in the behaviors of the characters in the novel Sentuh Papua, 1500 Miles, 153 Days, One Love by Aprila R.A. Wayar. The findings of this research reveal various forms of resistance. These include violent resistance carried out by the character Lazarus and the Papuan people; passive resistance by the characters Rohan, Amelia, and political refugees; and humanistic resistance by the characters Filep Karma, Figure Theys Hiyo, Agus, Ben Tanggahma, and Hindom.Keywords: Gramsci, counter-hegemony, novel, Papua, resistance. Abstrak Perlawanan, dalam berbagai dimensinya, sering muncul dalam cerita novel-novel Indonesia yang menggambarkan kompleksitas sosial, politik, dan budaya masyarakat. Salah satu contoh perlawanan ini terdapat di Papua, yang hingga kini belum menemukan solusi yang memadai. Perlawanan tersebut sebagian besar dipicu oleh ketidakadilan yang dirasakan oleh masyarakat Papua akibat hegemoni kekuasaan yang diterapkan oleh pemerintah. Menggunakan metode kualitatif-deskriptif, penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh pemahaman tentang counter-hegemony yang tercermin dalam perilaku tokoh-tokoh dalam novel Sentuh Papua, 1500 Miles, 153 Hari, Satu Cinta karya Aprila R.A. Wayar. Adapun temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya bentuk-bentuk perlawanan. Perlawanan tersebut terdiri atas perlawanan kekerasan yang dilakukan oleh tokoh Lazarus dan masyarakat Papua; perlawanan pasif oleh tokoh Rohan, tokoh Amelia, dan pengungsi politik; dan perlawanan humanistik oleh tokoh Filep Karma, tokoh Figure Theys Hiyo, dan tokoh Agus, Ben Tanggahma serta Hindom.Kata kunci: Gramsci, counter-hegemoni, novel, Papua, perlawanan]]>
