Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis diperlukan pada pendidikan abad 21. Kemampuan berpikir kritis dapat ditumbuhkan melalui model PBL. Live worksheet adalah media yang membantu dalam penggunaan model PBL. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model PBL berbantuan Live worksheet terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Metode yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen semu dengan desain posttest control group design. Lokasi penelitian yaitu di SMA Laboratorium UM dengan subjek penelitian kelas XI IPS 2 (kelas eksperimen) dan kelas XI IPS 3(kelas kontrol). Hasil penelitian berdasarkan uji Mann-Whitney diketahui 0,00 < 0,05 yaitu H0 ditolak H1 diterima. Hasil tersebut memperlihatkan bahwa model PBL yang didukung oleh live worksheet berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Peneliti juga menemukan temuan komparasi nilai rata-rata berdasarkan gender yang menunjukkan bahwa siswa perempuan mendapat nilai lebih tinggi dari siswa laki-laki. Hal ini karena kemampuan berbahasa perempuan lebih baik dibandingkan laki-laki sehingga mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam penyampaian pendapat. Critical Thinking ability is one of the necessary skills for 21st century education. Critical abilities may be advanced thru the PBL model. Live worksheet is a medium that can help in using the PBL model. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of a PBL model supported by live worksheets on students' critical thinking skills. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with a posttest control group design. The research location is in SMA Laboratorium UM with research subjects in class XI IPS 2 (experimental class) and class XI IPS 3 (control class). The results of the study based on the Mann-Whitneyy test, it is known that 0.00 < 0.05, then H0 rejected and H1 is accepted. These results demonstrate that PBL models supported by live worksheet influence students' critical thinking skills. The researcher also found a comparison of the average scores by gender which showed that female students score higher than male students. This factor is because women's language skills are better than men's so that it affects critical thinking skills in conveying opinions.
