<![CDATA[This research is intended to analyze (1) the effect of Elementary School teachers’ certification program to their teaching performance, (2) the effect of Public and Private Elementary Schools’ motivation to their teaching performance, and (3) The influence of teacher certification and teacher work motivation on teacher performance. This research used quantitative methods and questionnaires as research instruments. Data was collected from fifty one teachers from fourty-seven different Elementary School in in Talang Kelapa District, Banyuasin Regency. The collected data is then analyzed using simple linear regression analysis methods and multiple linear regression analysis with quantitative approaches. The result of the research showed that: (1) the teachers’ certification program variable positively and partially affected the teachers’ performance variable. It was proved by scoring 32,6% as teachers’ certification program regression coefficient, (2) the teachers’ teaching motivation variable also positively and partially affected the teachers’ performance variable by scoring 46,2% as the teachers’ motivation regression coefficient and (3) teachers’ certification program variable together with teachers’ motivation variable positively affected the teachers’ performance variable by giving score of 53,7%. To sum up, the results proved that teachers’ sertification program and teachers’ motivation have given positive effect both individually and together to the teachers’ performance variable. Furthermore, this research also suggested that most of the teachers are hoped that the teachers’ sertification program can continue to run well, can be given regularly and come on time. The settled program can create healthy environment that will strengthen teachers’ motivation in providing their best teaching performance. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa (1) pengaruh sertifikasi guru terhadap Kepuasan Kerja di Sekolah Dasar Negeri dan Swasta, (2) pengaruh motivasi kerja guru terhadap Kepuasan Kerja dan (3) pengaruh sertifikasi guru dan motivasi kerja guru terhadap Kepuasan Kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrument penelitiannya. Data dikumpulkan dari lima puluh satu guru dari empat puluh tujuh sekolah dasar yang berbeda di Kecamatan Talang Kelapa Kabupaten Banyuasin. Data yang telah terkumpul kemudian dianalisis dengan metode analisis regresi linear sederhana dan analisis regresi linear berganda dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa; (1) variabel Sertifikasi Guru (X1) berpengaruh positif secara parsial terhadap Kepuasan Kerja. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai koefisien regresi X1 sebesar 32,6%, (2) variabel Motivasi Kerja Guru (X2) berpengaruh positif secara parsial terhadap Kepuasan Kerja. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai koefisien regresi X2 sebesar 46,2%, dan (3) variabel Sertifikasi Guru bersama-sama dengan Motivasi Kerja Guru berpengaruh positif terhadap Kepuasan Kerja. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 53,7%. Sebagai kesimpulan, hasilnya membuktikan bahwa program sertifikasi guru dan motivasi guru telah memberikan efek positif baik secara individu maupun bersama-sama terhadap variabel Kepuasan Kerja. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini juga menyarankan bahwa sebagian besar guru berharap program sertifikasi guru dapat terus berjalan dengan baik, dapat diberikan secara teratur dan tepat waktu. Program yang ditetapkan dapat menciptakan lingkungan yang sehat yang akan memperkuat motivasi guru dalam memberikan kinerja mengajar terbaik mereka.]]>
