<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the application of the Discovery Learning method in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning to improve the conceptual understanding of grade 12 students regarding Islamic inheritance law at SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Pura. Understanding the concept of faraid is often a challenge for students due to the complexity of the rules and calculations involved. The Discovery Learning method is applied to encourage students to find concepts independently through exploration, discussion, and problem solving. In the learning process, grade 12 students are given various case studies related to Islamic inheritance to be analyzed and solved collaboratively. This study uses a qualitative approach with observation, interview, and learning data analysis methods to measure the effectiveness of this method in improving the understanding of grade 12 students. The results of the study show that this method not only improves grade 12 students' understanding of the concept of inheritance, but also develops their critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. In addition, grade 12 students become more active and motivated in learning. Thus, the application of Discovery Learning in PAI learning can be an effective innovative solution in helping grade 12 students understand complex concepts in Islamic law and improve the quality of learning in SMK]]>
