PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NHT (NUMBERED HEADS TOGETHER) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI ARITMATIKA SOSIAL DI KELAS VIIA SMPN 4 SIGI

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh deskripsi penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) pada materi aritmatika sosial di kelas VIIA SMP N 4 Sigi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Rancangan penelitian ini mengacu pada model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang terdiri atas empat komponen, yaitu 1) perencanaan, 2) pelaksanaan tindakan, 3) observasi dan 4) refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIA SMPN 4 Sigi yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIIA SMPN 4 Sigi dengan menerapkan fase-fase yaitu: 1) penyampaian tujuan dan pemberian motivasi, 2) penyajian informasi, 3) penomoran, 4) pengajuan pertanyaan, 5) berpikir bersama, 6) pemberian jawaban atau evaluasi dan 7) pemberian penghargaan pada materi aritmatika sosial. Kata kunci: numbered heads together, hasil belajar, aritmatika sosial. Abstract: The objectives of this research is to obtain the description about application of cooperative learning of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) of arithmetic social in grade VIIA of SMPN 4 Sigi. This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The design of this research refered to the Kemmis and Mc.Taggart’s research design, that consist of 4 components, those are 1) planning, 2) acting, 3) observating and 4) reflecting. The subject were students of Grade VIIA of SMPN 4 Sigi totaling 32 student. This research consist of two cycles. The results of the research showed that the application of cooperative learning type NHT can improve student’s learning outcomes in grade VIIA of SMPN 4 Sigi by applyingthe phases, those are: 1) conveying the learning objective and motivating, 2) presenting information, 3) numbering, 4) questioning, 5) heads together, 6) answering or evaluating and 7) giving appreciation of social arithmetic.
