<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Jigsaw method in the teaching of Qur'an and Hadith to improve the understanding of Grade X students at Madrasah Aliyah Hidayatul Mubtadiin Sidoharjo, Jati Agung District, South Lampung in the 2025/2026 academic year. The background of this research is the low level of active participation and understanding of students in Qur'an and Hadith lessons, which tend to be one-way and lack active student involvement. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a classroom action research (CAR) design carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 25 students of Grade X. Data collection techniques included observation, tests, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively using quantitative methods. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Jigsaw method can improve students’ understanding of Qur'an and Hadith materials. This is evidenced by an increase in students’ learning outcomes from Cycle I to Cycle II. In Cycle I, the average student score was 72, while in Cycle II it increased to 84. In addition, students' activeness and collaboration also showed a significant improvement. Therefore, the Jigsaw method has proven to be effective in enhancing students' understanding and participation in the teaching of Qur'an and Hadith in Grade X at Madrasah Aliyah Hidayatul Mubtadiin.]]>
