The purpose of this study was to determine how PPKn teachers help students at SMP Negeri 5 Tondano Utara in fostering discipline. The approach used was qualitative, with data collection procedures in the form of documentation, interviews, and observations. Based on the results of the study, teachers play an important role in helping each student at school to have and instill a disciplined attitude. In addition, teachers at SMP Negeri 5 Tondano Utara have an obligation to provide instructions, inspiration, and even be a catalyst for students' enthusiasm for learning. Lack of parental involvement in children, students' attitudes that do not obey school rules, and the influence of social groups that often violate the rules are the main factors that cause students to be less disciplined at SMP Negeri 5 Tondano Utara.
